The first time I saw the vicar of dribbley was hilarious. It was just that, they should have left it as a one off.

They should definally drop Eat My Goal, and show more clips that arn't voted for. Not sure about H & Clare. I don't think I want to see a clip of Casually MkII ever again, and the same goes for more modern stuff such as Only Fools and Hogwash and The Vicar of Dribbley. The funniest thing during Tess and Brians era (why won't they come on as the co-presenter one week instead of Girls Aloud members) was when he misdialled during 'Are you up for it' and got shouted at by an angry mother live on air!

There were some excellent Casually moments with H and Claire. The producers would always add subtle references to Steps being awful and slip them in the show unexpected. Once, Nurse Emma Ridge (Tess) was asking how the 'booth of infinite pain' worked:

"Is it electric shocks?"
"No... far worse"
[She opens the door - Steps, Tragedy is playing]

You can tell she wasn't expecting that and it really was very funny to watch. There were some other good moments with Claire too:

"Now... let me show you the ropes... here they are, now I use these t BEAT the patients!"

At one time, each of the sketches would somehow have a copy of Steps Gold ridiculed in it. Quite funny. I certainly hope that H and Claire will make a reappearance before the end, they were quite good on SM:tv.

I think the spitting out tea thing in The Vicar of Dribley got very repetitive after awhile.

I found The Vicar of Dribley and Eminemadale very funny actually. I just don't think Shavaughan and Des had that star appeal the kids wanted.

I didn't like Shavaugn from the beginning... she just didn't look right - she wasn't as glamourous as Cat, Tess or Claire and her hair was really weird and looked a mess. Also, her presenting wasn't exactly suited ot SM:tv.

Hi,
Does anyone know what CiTV will be doing for christmas this year?

will they be from a 'haunted house'? Rolling Eyes
I hope they are in the studio with a CiTV christmas tree like they always do! I hope, if there in the studio, Michael and Leah will be together.

Looks like SM:TV Gold is being extended on 29th November from 9:25 - 12:00, with CD:UK at 12.

Also Cat Deeley starts presenting the weekly Record of the Year shows on the 29th, maybe Cat will present the live show this year instead of Ant & Dec, due to their Pop Idol commitments.

Well, I suppose Cats the next best thing after Ant & Dec.

Seeing all three of them presenting it together would be great! Doubtful that will ever happen though!

In 2001 when pop idol was going on, they had a week of, so no pop idol for a week whilst record of the year took place.

But this year, if they are planning to end pop idol the week before christmas, then they are going to have to have it on every week.

I have also noticed Cat Deeley is hosting this years Royal Variety Show on itv1. They have made a great trailer, where she goes walking around trying to find her dressing room, with her dressing gown on and trying to do her make up.

Why would they be from a haunted house? For Halloween 2002 they did a special from a haunted house, but christmas?

They are usually in the studio and have it decorated with trees and things, though what will they do with the new studio, and what will the presentation be like at christmas, we will have to wait and see.

They may do the kids show favourite and go to lapland for christmas over christmas eve, etc.

Is Michael still presenting on CiTV???

I know he will do the new Saturday morning show but I thought they would give him a big sendoff, like they did with leigh and David!

He's off at the moment, I think recording one of his shows for CiTV.

I'd say he would leave in early December, though he may stick around till christmas, depending on what the rehersals are like for the new show.
