Haven't watched anything back yet. But I did notice mpaa without CiTV. I'm not sure it is a good thing being out of CiTV. As it just makes every kids programme seem like an itv1 one, when CiTV put so much effort in.
Even when CBBC have the rare occurance of one programme scheduled (its usually blue peter on xmas eve), they still have (recorded) links of the presenters and CBBC graphics, i don't see why CiTV can't buddle an episode of MPAA with CiTV branding, and then give it to itv1 to play out. It was nice to see full credits of MPAA, and it would be more possible if CiTV had more time, or got more promotion.
Though they could have done it over half term, but they still ran promos, usually the dancing one.
SM:tv GOLD has been promoted heavily. In Thursday nights cd:uk repeat, the trailer (CiTV branded) was shown in every break!

I only managed to see Cat's apology, for the use of bad language.
Bob Geldof was one of the guests in the review of a few songs section, after using some mild slightly swearey words like t**s and a**e, which Cat didn't seem bothered about, he then later said f**k. Cat said that he wasn't supposed to say stuff like that at that time of the morning. After the break Cat formerly aplogised for strong language that 'you may have heard us use earlier in the show'

Today's CD:UK was certainly interesting, did everyone notice the "Strong Language" on this morning's show?

The new CiTV dog doesn't bother me. I quite like presenters doing the links and it gives personality and someone for the kids to view and associate with. Agreed, I don't like the promotions where they cut off the end theme as well as most of vision, but I do like the little break idents, and moving everything to itv1 would be a step backwards.

Oh right!
Anyway, I like the way that itv1 now do CiTV shows on the weekend now because:-
- No CiTV DOG in the corner
- Full end credits (with NO treailers/cut off)
- No silly little ad break thing with the credits!
What does everyone else think? itv1 or CiTV ??

I don't know if this is GMG North only, but I was watching SM:tv Gold and they always seem to have made a complete balls from going from the Squares sponsorship, to the bumper then to the ad itself. It must be the only programme where a mess is made of it, as they cut in about 2 seconds into the first advert, without showing the bumper, or when they do show the bumper they show it in the wrong format, as I have my digibox set to 4:3 Letterbox and it's always in 16:9 for the ad break, is this because it's a live programme or is it a general fault or something?
Though I have to say SM:tv Gold isn't that great, as it seems to be Girls Aloud and Gareth Gates every week, and it is becoming dull, but I have to say that Stephen Mulhern is a good presenter for the programme. They seem to have a bias to their clips, but thats okay as they're usually decent Ant and Dec ones, a very good Anty and Decky today, a good FArt Attack, The Secret of my success and a good Chums too, a very good cock-up reel aswell being shown. Shame it'll be going back to 9.25 in a couple of weeks as it has made decent viewing for a Saturday afternoon, shame they can't replace SM:tv at 9.25 with something else until this new show starts/

Yes today's show was another good one, although the co-star presenters could be a bit better rather than current popstars who wern't around during Ant and Dec's era.
I have to say I watched last week's again on ITV2, especially to see Dec's "Song in Postbag", "Feelings" by Maurice Albert, probably one of the funniest SM:TV moments ever.
Thank goodness someone finally got the rocking rollover Wonkey Donkey. Also notice at the end of 'Secret of My Success' they left the bit where Ant walks on intact, after public demand on here!. I wish they'd show some old Challenge Ant's or at least a montage of the funniest bits, same with Wonkey Donkey. I agree the cockup tape was hilarious as well, as was the Anty and Decy episode featuring Dizzy Water Dizzy Water Dizzy Water!
Its a pitty they can't show entire episodes on ITV2, if they took out the sabrina and pokemon etc and pop videos they'd have it down to just about an hour of classic Ant and Dec moments!

Just a shame they can't do what they did a couple of years ago when they showed Chums on CiTV at 4.50pm every weekday, as that was a good idea. As today's Chums episode was very funny, though I don't seem to remember that one being shown. But not the best. But when they mentioned Gaby Roslin I assumed that they would be showing the clip where she's the Lice Inspector and gives Cat's hair lice infection, but that wasn't shown.
I again watched some of the Ant and Dec's last SM:tv Live on video, and the most funny thing about it was that pratically everything went wrong, especially The Secret of My Success, when they were talking about Dec's days on Byker Grove, which had about 20 guests in one scene. Very funny.
I have to agree why don't they show the full episodes, the name of the programme doesn't live up to it's meaning, as we have to put up with crap presenting, All Grown Up (Crap!), Crap Sabrina and the same crappy music, I think were allowed more than 5 Ant and Dec clips per edition.

Some of my favourite moments were from H and Claire's era and it's a shame that whenever there is a vote, Ant and Dec win. I think that they should show some none-Ant and Dec clips which you don't have to vote for, and drop one of the shows like Rugrats.

They should definally drop Eat My Goal, and show more clips that arn't voted for. Not sure about H & Clare. I don't think I want to see a clip of Casually MkII ever again, and the same goes for more modern stuff such as Only Fools and Hogwash and The Vicar of Dribbley. The funniest thing during Tess and Brians era (why won't they come on as the co-presenter one week instead of Girls Aloud members) was when he misdialled during 'Are you up for it' and got shouted at by an angry mother live on air!
