Don't forget today's SM:TV Gold:

SM:tv Gold is on at the later time of 2.45pm on CiTV this Saturday,
GARETH GATES and Mis-Teeq will be spending their Saturday afternoon in the SM:tv Gold studio this weekend, and SU-ELISE, ALESHA and SABRINA will also be taking up the EAT MY GOAL challenge against GIRLS ALOUD.. be sure to tune in for an all-girl grudgematch special!

GIRLS ALOUD will be live in the studio this weekend and KIMBERLEY will be helping DES and STEPHEN to present too! This week you can vote on the web for your favourite sketch between F'ART ATTACK featuring MELINDA MESSENGER and TAGGFART starring BUSTED and LIBERTY X!! Plus during the show you'll be able to pick for sketches including ANTY & DECKY, POKEFIGHT, CASUALLY, S CLUB 8 in THE VICAR OF DRIBBLEY [not much chance of that winning, I wonder what Des thinks when all his sketches are always last!] or THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS [that one will win!] Plus... nobody has guessed it for the past two weeks, so it's a double rockin' rollover in WONKEY DONKEY [anyone know what it was?] There are more adventures with the RUGRATS in ALL GROWN UP and another brand new episode of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH and a classic CHUMS!! Also tune into ITV2 from 9.25am and catch up with Stephen, Des, BUSTED, GIRLS ALOUD and ROBOT WARS' JAYNE MIDDLEMISS for your breakfast dose of SM:tv Gold!!

And as well as all that, as an extra treat there's an episode of My Parents are Aliens as well at 4.50pm
The newly-equipped attic bedroom will go to whichever of the three kids love Brian the most. Lucy won't play along, but Mel and Josh compete over who can show their love the most extravagantly. Starring: Tony Gardner, Carla Mendonca, Danielle McCormack, Alex Kew, Charlotte Francis, Keith Warwick and all the other lot

I wonder then, if we will get it CiTV'ed (the link between SM:tv Gold and mpaa), with a citv animation after the sponser of SM:tv GOLD, and then MPAA, if so, then we may see CiTV controlling SM:tv's output, therefore CiTV breakbumpers/flashes and the current start up.

Or maybe we will see the ident catwalk tune and the next animation with the CA saying next on itv1, MPAA, and then intro it, like they did with all grown up the other sunday.

If it is ITV1 as opposed to CITV, I hope the announcer does a proper intro into MPAA (as opposed to something like "Don't miss Pop Idol in an hour here on ITV1") as it'd sound really strange, a 'Next' slide would be even funnier

What. So something like.

'Potatoes are harmed in the making of Walkers Square, sponsers of SM:tv LIVE'

(Catwalk music) "Next on itv1, who will win Brian's affections and a new bedroom, in My Parents Are Aliens."

(ident runs) "Don't forget Pop Idol tonight at the earlier time of 5:50. But now on itv1, the word love has never been so confusing. Thank goodness their parents are aliens!"

It would be wierd to hear that.

What would be wierder is if we had normal itv1 presentation after SM:tv, then after the commercials SWAG came on with a prize to giveaway.

It would keep CiTV together having the CiTV presentation after SM:tv. And actually having an end ident after MPAA, as supposed to SM:tv where it always opens, but never closes!

Hi, can anyone answer these questions:

1) When does SMTV GOLD finish?
and...
2) Is the last show going to be in the moering (9:25) or in the afternoon (2:00+)

Thanks,
LoveTV!! Very Happy

The rugby ends next week so it should be back to the normal 9.25 morning slot from 29th November

I'm pretty convinced now that all the votes are rigged... it all seems pretty suspicious -

Last week you could vote for clips and they showed some clips too. The webvote and the PJ and Duncan clip were from the same show with Steps.

This week, the clips have been from the show with Hear'say... suspicious?

Anyway, regardless of that, I'm really really enjoying SM:tv Gold. When you see how well Ant, Dec and Cat got on you really don't need much of a script. There should always be an element of surprise in the show - like in the 'Dec Says' clips when Ant and the little girl mess about and Dec doesn't know what they're doing - today they had a Gladiator fight which Dec obviously didn't know about.

Interestring also to see James Redmond in the clip of Dec Says. I'd like to see more clips of H and Claire of course...

Looks like MPAA is going out as a normal ITV1 show with no CITV Branding. Looks like CITV are experimenting with weekend programming without the CITV brand. I personally like the idea.

Well on the continuity front it was all going so well.

Before the Rugby Highlights, the male announcer mentioned 'chums' and promoted SM:TV Gold as coming up later. Then a rare event, there was actually an ident before SM:TV, and the announcer directly mentioned the show. But during today's show the announcer shift had changed and the female announcer wasn't getting into it and did a generic announcement into MPAA, very similar to the one I predicted earlier, only mentioning Pop Idol coming up later.

It was very strange seeing MPAA's credits run clean to the end though, not often that happens!.

Looks like "Girls In Love" is on tomorrow, presumably also outside the CITV slot.

Did anybody else spot the SM:tv Gold promotion last night at about 2AM on ITV1? Nice to know they're promoting it heavily now...

Today's CD:UK was certainly interesting, did everyone notice the "Strong Language" on this morning's show?
