We've probably covered this before but it could be anywhere between here and page 1, so I'll ask again.....
SM:TV's Shevaghan, when did she first appear, and when did she disappear?
Stephen Mulhern, did he appear straight after Brian left or was it a bit later, I've completely forgotten!
Shavaughan and Des began on SM:tv on March 15th. Don't know when she left, but it was just before Brian wasn't it?
Stephen kept appearing as a guest, and then started presenting with Des & Tess every week. His role became more important as the weeks went on, and eventually Tess left. And Stephen & Des continued onto SM:tv GOLD.
I wonder what Shavaughan is doing now, and where she is. It may be one of those things they'll look into on an SM:tv LIVE tribute show in years to come.
Andrew, I think Shavaughn left the week after Brian, I never saw her anymore and Stephen replaced Brian the following week but as fanoftv said he had been a guesting now and then easing him in. I did hear Shavaughn is working for a tv company but that's all I can say.
Well, actually, both Des & Shavaugn started on 15th March 2003. Brian left the first week of July, then Shavaughn disappeared the following week without one single word of where she'd gone, thats when Stephen's job became more permanent.
I think if they had just brought Stephen in in March instead of Des & Shavaughn, the show may still be safe by now, we've hardly heard from Brian or Tess since they left so they musn't have been too fond of the new guys. Maybe they would have got on better with Stephen. Although, its all "maybe's" now as the show is going in 6 weeks and there's nothing they can do now!
Perhaps bring Stephen and say Brian in with Cat would have worked in January 2002. But it can only be ifs.
I hope this new show gets off to a good start.
It would be nice if the last SM:tv GOLD was on the 13th december. Then have a christmas show on the 20th, with a final show on the 27th. If GOLD does continue to christmas, a load of classic christmas clips would be nice.
I hope they give it some sort of send off, and trail the new show a lot to.
Have you noticed how, bar the sun's little report, their has been no proper press release about the new show, giving details about it, its title and presenters. Its strange, their's not even a couple of months left now. Perhaps they will do like fully booked 1998 did and trail the show with a line up of mystery presenters.
Does anyone remember the promo, quite good actually. It had a white screen with sillouettes, and a voice over of "Fully Booked is back, with not one, two, but three new presenters", with otis coming on saying 'I know who they are'.
I hope they go for a fun lively approach, rather than the Live & Kicking grunge, dark yet still cool approach.
Going back to CiTV. This afternoon at the end saw a promo for thursdays which featured the letters of thursday sat round a table (in the new font) bouncing around waiting for award results. They reminded me of the last look, and just shows how good the graphic department can be. And it mixed well with the current logo. I'm hoping for big things this christmas, well interesting things.
Thanks but I opened it in Media Player and I on;y heard the music, I wanted to see the opening!
Can you please get it so I can see it?
Thanks anyway,
LoveTV!!

Isn't there a requests thread for things like this? After all, this LoveTV!! character does a lot of requesting but somehow doesn't seem for real...

Its not supposed to be a video of it, just the theme song from the show.
I see on the Virgin site that Ant and Dec have released a "Best of Saturday Night Takeaway" video which is out today. Surely, that sort of stuff should be kept in the archives rather than trying to milk money out of any Ant and Dec fans out there. I like their show but why stretch a video out of it?
I wonder whether the success of chums on sm:tv would carry over to a prime time show. With the same writers, same cheap set. It was really in a league of its own, and was the longest sketch in sm:tv history.
If they did get ant, dec & cat to do it, would you watch?

As main presenters go yes. Except it Tess didn't leave until September did she? The last week in august. It should be Tess & Des (with guest) till august 03, with Tess, Des & Stephen till end of august 03.
And Des & Stephen should say Sep 03 - present, as the cd:uk one does, as december hasn't come along yet!
Am I right in thinking we only have two more weeks of sm:tv in the afternoon? As this week is the semi finals, the saturday after should surely be the final. Or will the final be in the afternoon our time? Or on the sunday?
