I've noticed for the past couple of weeks that they've been adding a shadow to the caption. I'm not sure if this is what you mean though.

Hi, has anyone noticed that the 'Subtitles' caption has had a 3D effect added to it!
I don't think it looks that good, what does anyone else think??????

They've probably done this because it won't show otherwise on some programmes, the most obvious is Art Attack, even more so if they leave the Subtitles tag on into the start of the opening sequence (because it's white as is the tag, you see?). Seems to be okay for most other shows though. Mind you the standard ITV Subtitles tag suffers from the same "me no see" issue when they put it on over a light background.

This afternoons CiTV was fantastic, with Michael and Swag signing the phone number live. Swag got it right the first time, but then ended early, and Michael missed the number at the start all together. Then Michael showing a reduced sticker on the toffee apple and then was supposed to say something about it being out of dat, then laughed and dropped tha pple of the stick. Classic kids TV!

I liked it before Flintstones with the crew and Michael looking at the fake fireworks.
That swag character annoys me, it's very immature. I miss it when CiTV were trying to aim at teens around a year or so ago.

I find swag comical. Compared to 2002, when everything was dark, crap, presenters were rubbish, set was dark, metallic and moody, and programmes were the usual.
They knew taht they had got it wrong, even the teen audience weren't liking it. Afterall it is Children's ITV. I think that the presenters, presentation and programmes, especially the new commisions are proving to be good family hits. Not only for kids, but for teenagers,a nd adults too. That's what CiTV was lacking, programmes that could entertain the adults that watch with their children. Afterall, the adults usually control what young children watch. In terms of new commisions, CiTV is way stronger than anyone else at the moment.
CBBC's new shows are starting in drips and drabs, and there aren't many new commisions being made, just new series or repeat series from when Nigel Pickard was head.

I guess you're right, the schedule is planned very well.
I used to like CBBC, but now I prefer CiTV. I think CBBC are doing it the way that they used to do it in the older days. Blue Peter, Animal Ark.. I mean come on. Who really wants to watch that crap now?
I'll always be 100% behind Nickelodeon though.
Anyway.. I best get back to my coursework!

I am sooooooooo SICK and TIRED of 'All Grown Up'!!!
It was really good first of all but now CiTV are repeating, repeating and repeating them!!! Over and Over , and it's on 2 days a week!!!!!!!!!!
Really, can't CiTV replace the 4pm and 4:30 slot with something NEW!!!!!
I think they should show the new series of Sabrina, despite what many of you think, I think it is an OK show, afterall IT IS THE LAST SERIES!!!!!!
I admit it isn't as good as the earlier ones but it would fit nicely and I quite like it!!!
Talking of Sabrina, does anyone know if it WILL be repeated next year or something on CiTV??????????

The series of Sabrina will have to continue somewhere next year on CiTV, unless they have it on Christmas mornings. As by the end of december only 11 eps will have been shown, and nick had them running two eps a day for a week and a half, I think there are 26 eps, but don't quote me on that.
So unless CiTV are going to take it up, or the new Saturday morning show are going to continue to show them.
I wonder why CiTV are repeating all grown up. Perhaps they paid a lot to show it. Its a great series, but viewers will get sick of it if they keep repeating it. They could drop the friday one, and show just finger tips and the extra you can do magic.
I wonder if CiTV have commisioned any shows for Christmas specials, like one offs of Sooty, Globoloco, Star, etc. A week of Christmas shows would be lovely in the run up to it.
