It would be ironic if over the next few weeks ratings shot up for SMTV gold wayt above Dick & Dom then suddenly crahsed again when the news show launches. Wouldn't that make ITV reconsider thier options?

I hope it isn't like that. As Stephen will be jumping ship, so I hope many viewers will follow. I like to watch Dick & Dom, but it will get tidious after a while. I find myself watching in stages of the series. I hope that the new show will bring back the magic full on saturday morning experience that has been missing since the golden days of SM:tv. As long as the writing is great, the ideas are fresh, and the three of them work well together.

I think SM:tv has been taken as far as it can go. The new show will most probably have similar qualities to sm:tv. SM:tv's presenters at the moment, are guests, a host of the new show, and Des. There have been no new ideas recently, and have relied on Gold clips. The Gold clips are good, but they can't take it back to the good old days.

It is time to move on so that we can get back to the quality of SM:tv Live.

With them not mentioning the name, I'm thinking the name is not going to be as strong as SM:tv Live, as that was Saturday Morning TeleVision LIVE. It was simple, basic, yet summed it all up! It will mbe interesting to see what they come up with!

Just been reading through most of the thread again, remember the scandal when we thought the presenters had been dropped on CITV.

It seems from reading back that the presenters appear like this:

Mondays: No presenter when they used to have Globo Loco on, but since All Grown Up started its been Leah, except this week when it was nobody again

Tuesdays: Seems to be Michael Underwood every week

Wednesdays: Seems to be either Michael or Leah every week, although there was apparantly a week where it was just Swag on his own

Thursdays: The first week was apparantly Anna but since Star started its been a no presenter day

Fridays: Since You Can Do Magic started in the 2nd week its been Michael and Leah every week. No doubt tommorow it'll be Michael and lots of appearances by Swag

Well it will be sa-wag, the french exchange bag (whose voice does sound very similar to michael with a french accent!). I loved the french sounding theme they created for it! I presume it was no presenter on monday, because they hadnt booked anyone, and michael was busy!

I remember the swag only, it was mainly him doing the competition, and announcing the winner, the shows just came on after trailers and ID's.

I wonder what Sunday at 6am and all of next week's morning's will be. Most prob no presenter!

So next week (1st november) SM:tv is on tiwce.

Do you think that the 2pm one will be a half repeat of the itv2 one, or perhaps the itv2 one will be a repeat of this Saturdays (25th October) Sm:tv since it is only on for an hour. Anyone any ideas?

Im not sure what it will be. It's interesting that they are doing this, putting it onto itv2. I wonder if they will have trailers for it next week. It may be like the hourly SM:tv's recently, show a programme and classic clips with a bit of them in the middle, or it could be VOed by Stephen & Des with classic clips. Is it only for an hour? It would have been nice to have the whole morning for an itv2 special. Like taking you behind the scenes, meeting the people that have put SM:tv on air over the years; before cd:uk starts followed by SM:tv GOLD on itv1.

CiTV this afternoon. It actually started with a resonably wide shot. Not full wide so that you can see the dafe and everything. The set has got me thinking that sometimes we see the different things and desks on the backing, so i was wondering if they may have two sides to that set as it does stick out! What interested me about this afternoon was the fact that at the end Michael billed the films that are going to be on sunday afternoons, starting with Space Jam (so it may be a true CiTV slot then), and then next week. He didn't mention Sunday Morning at 6, though I suppose that is tots. And he also didnt mention the half term programming at 9:25 all next week.

LoveTV!!
I hate CiTV at the moment! Not for there programmes or presenters but for the Schedules!! Evil or Very Mad

They keep changing the scheduling around. So on friday now it's:
3:30 What about Mimi?
4:00 Fingertips
4:20 You can do magic
4:30 All grown up.

I wonder why they have cut You can do magic to one episode a week, maybe they will show the NEW Sabrina at 4:30 or they are running out of episodes???
Also, is CiTV going to show the first Thats so raven on Thursday and repeat the whole series??? I hope so because I missed some of them on SM:TV GOLD. Fingers crossed! Very Happy

Finally, is this the morning schedule:
9:25 Star
9:55 Seriously Weird

If it is then (1) why are they replacing Pirate Islands, wasn't it very popular??? and (2) There can't be just 5 new episodes of Seriously Weird so what are CiTV going to do with the rest???

Thanx! LoveTV!!

Yes, looks like CITV is getting a Sunday afternoon slot with All Grown Up being shown next Sunday as well as the Premiere of Inspector Gadget.

Isn't All Grown Up going out against the original Rugrats on CBBC on Fridays ? Interestingly the Radio Times says that All Grown Up is premiering on ITV in Britain before the USA.

Only on Fridays they do, for example Tuesday and Wednesday's schedule has been the same every week since the relaunch.

Possibly, but is Star on weekday mornings new ones or catch up repeats?
