A new start ident at the top of CiTV at 3:15, instead of the itv1 board zipping up the screen like a roller blind, a ball and chain flew towards it and shattered it. It involved different clips of presenters and characters like before except different clips, and different music along with it!

That ball and chain, Is it a bit like BBC Choice, when they had an ident being hit by a ball and then shattering into a thousand pieces to reveal something else? Is it exactly the same look, or not as good? Or better?

Hi, sorry to write again but how do I 'quote' what other people have said? I have tried highlighting it but that hasn't worked (see above). 'This is Granada' can do it, hoe can I?

Yeah from memory, it is the same as the bbc choice one, or at least similar. With jazzed up music, doesnt sound right to me, the first start up music sounded really good, dont know why.

I didnt recognise the person on top of the CiTV logo, it could be someone out of pirate island, or that new show that starts next week.

The new series of my parents are aliens looks good. And I must have missed todays ep when it was shown last year, i was laughing in stiches, 'Brian the musical' and sophie acting like Julie Andrews in 'sound of music'. It seems as though the laughter track is staying, but the filmic effect looked more professional on it. They should release these on video/DVD, they only ever release tots programmes.

After watching them all, I have to say that the new Sophie is (to me) a whole lot better than the old sophie. The old sophie had the quirkyness, but the new Carla (the new sophie) has really played sophie well, and different to her predessor. Whilst watching them all back, she has been so great especially today in the sound of music role, and the ep when she was trying to be trent's friend.

The shows at the moment are great on CiTV, its great scheduling and great commissioning power, long may it continue. At the moment though its all entertainment based, they havent got any science shows, or documentary type shows, bar art attack you could argue.

Wrap it in quote tags, so typing this:

[code:1:a59e0bd44a]
[quote="Me"]Blah blah drone waffle prattle pontificate etc[/quote]
[/code:1:a59e0bd44a]

Would generate this:

I was thinking this, I don't recall seeing this episode before. Brian the musical = 101 ways to inflate your ego. Smile

Todays episode was a classic example of why I like this show. It doesn't require masses of brain power to understand but you don't need to be under 12 to get the humour. Should be more CiTV shows like it.

Indeed and its got a really good cast as well, not just the main lot but even the supporting cast like Frankie and Pete are well casted as well.
