Today's CITV seemed to have more time that they knew what to do with, with the same bullying film shown twice, trailers for Globo Loco shown more than once, trailers for programmes coming up next etc!. If they'd dropped all that, we could have had even more of Michael and Leah
What does everyone think to Faye's presenting skills? She's not exactly brilliant is she... ah well. I like her "Lisa Steps" hair style! Wonder where she got the inspiration from? *cough* Lisa *cough*
However, at the start of the SM:Tv she said she was still friends with all of Steps and said she still kept contact with them, more so recently... I hope they've all made up now.
I didn't think they'd offer H&Claire clips in case it caused ill feeling with Faye, but they've got a Steps Chums on .
On today's SM:tv Gold I'm pleased to see Faye Tozer! Yay! Also, Eat my Goal was outside - how long have they been doing this?
Also, in the "vote for a sketch" thing they have an episode of Casually with James Redmond in it.
Eat my goal has been played outside since they moved to the riverside studios. I'm not sure whether its studio space, the way the sets and stages are layed out, i dont know. I wonder what they are going to do when it gets closer to autumn when its freezing, or if it rains!

I would expect Eat My Goal will come to an end soon, it's not really very entertaining anymore. Neither is Wonkey Donkey. They need some new ideas, although as it's been axed I don't suppose they're bothered.
Well Stephen Mulhern is quite funny on Wonkey Donkey, almost getting into the same spirit as Declan did all those years ago, having a go at the callers when they don't rhyme.
He has reallyt surprised me whilst doing sm:tv, though if/when he moves to the new show it will be a bit like lorraine jumping form tvam to gmtv; though I doubt he will cry on the last sm:tv, though you never know we may have ant, dec & cat back!
I hope we can expect something different on the new show, perhaps not different from saturday mornings, but different to sm:tv, so more audience participation, perhaps instead of sketches, comical magazine features, a cookery part with rusty lee! Oh I dont know!
Whatever they come up with, I want it to make me laugh. At the best of times, SM:tv has me laughing out loud and any following show should try to achieve this too - it makes Saturday morning TV so great.
The best bits are when the presenters add unscripted bits and I think the new show should have less scripted links to make it more impromptu and amusing.
I would like to see a big breakfast approach where they would still have clipboards, but only clipboards instead of autocues and a set that they can walk around, and many parts that they can use.
SM:tv gols has been good as you have them rushing around to different areas and the results set, and stages, and the outside, etc.
Whatever ens up happening, Im sure the new producers ahve many ideas on their hands and a free pallet to use. Even though the demographic is much lower, i hope they still consider older viewers too.
With cookery it wouldnt be straight forward this morning cooking, it'd be more like a game, cant cook wont cook style, or hands behind their back. Now that would be good, seeing how guests can do their trade with a disibility, like the chefs couldnt use their hands and the footballers would have a leg tied to someone else, etc.
Strange how a new Power Rangers Ninja Storm computer game is due next month - GMTV won't be showing it yet, because neither is Fox Kids.
Why are both channels so unpredictable that merchandise gets screwed up?
It is coming to fox kids, and i presume to GMTV as Jamie from up on the roof did a preview of it for GMTV & Fox Kids. it is definately coming to fox kids soon! And it looks to be the best series since the original.
Also on the new CiTV newsletter, just released, it doesnt mention starfinder, but mentions that the new series of rugrats : all grown up will be starting exclusively on CiTV monday 6th october. So perhaps this will be replacing globo loco with globo loco on thursdays. I havent even seen it on nick yet! Im surprised CBBC havent got hold of it. Oh well, perhaps it could be a good bag by CiTV. If its anything like the 10th anniversery ep of rugrats with them 10 years in the future, then it will be better than the original!
Power Rangers Ninja Storm obviously doesn't start on either channel until Christmas - so why that game is out in October I don't know - the rest of the merchendise is still Wild Force.
As for Rugrats, it's obviously a spin-off. Shows have transferred before anyway - BBC1 has shown the 1990's Spiderman - it's now on GMTV (they've only got about 10 episodes left now). The first Power Rangers movie has been on both BBC1 and Five. And Max Steel is on Five, but started on ITV1.

Why does it obviously not start until christmas? There are three months till christmas yet. They could start it at half term.
They've started to advertise all grown up today on CiTV, though usual no links on monday. Maybe monday links will be reinstated next week if the new show is shorter than globo loco, which they usually are.
I'm in two minds about this "Rugrats: All Grown Up" thing really but then of course it comes just as if it was real life all those babies would be about that age now anyway, but on the other hand its not "the" Rugrats that everybody knows. The newer episodes of Rugrats were not, IMO, as interesting when they introduced Dill into the cartoon after the movie.
