It's also an unfortunate time for this to happen, what with the CITV Channel launching next year.

A good selling point could have been "See the brand new series of MPAA first only on the CITV Channel". With all the cast bar Brian and Sophie being replaced it won't be much of a draw even if they still did this

Another point about today's ep. How they did today's episode just shows how much depth the show had. Actually realising that people have watched every episode for 7 years and remember all the old cast and various in-jokes, plus the ability to have drama mixed with comedy. It wasn't just a silly show for little kids to watch once and laugh a bit. Definally award winning, when's the Children's BAFTAs again?!

From the 'Sun' Re: Stephen & Holly's Saturday Showdown

Stephen and Holly will be joined by 6 kids every week who will be playing silly games to earn points to try and win prizes. All the 'mad cap action' will take place in Steven and Holly's house. No studio audience or celebs.

I'd have liked CJ and Harry to stay, seeing as CJ was only in 6 and 7 and Harry was only in this one. Josh was the only one who needed to go,being on work experience!

But i think MPAA can carry on for at least a few more years as long as they get rid of who they need to,change the actors they need to,bring back the characters they need to and get new characters right.

I don't think they can. I've seen enough shows go through these sort of changes, they always get rubbish and end usually after only 1 series, 2 if they're lucky.

They should leave it where it is, on a high note. There's only so far you can take it, so much you can change before you end up ruining a show. And the fact is, 6 years, 7 series, 92 epsidoes is a good run for a show like this. Leave it where it is and come up with something fresh I say.

I believe that's why they axed SMTV...doesn't stop you going on about bringing it back though! Wink

Yes, I haven't mentioned SM:TV coming back for nearly a year now, so just leave it.

Why do i have the feeling that Stephen and Holly will tell viewers that its the "last" MOM right at the end of the show before an performance like when Michael left?

Also, does anyone know where i can get Mr Lee song in full?

Surely they can't actually do this, can they? What about copyright issues, etc.

Seiing as it's in The Sun, I wouldn't totally trust it. They are hardly known for ground-breaking truthful news
