The MPAA website seems to have had a fairly large update (yes indeed you'll have to sit down in shock) www.granadakids.com/aliens with some new photos of the cast and some new interviews. There's no longer the flash credits though.

A little competion, when and how many times has the MPAA opening titles been altered since it started...

Let's see, they had the original, the change for Carla joining, the titles for CJ last series, and even though I haven't seen any of the new series, I expect that they've changed them, have they? So 4.

It could be 5 with the change to widescreen, though I'm sure even in the first series that the titles were letterboxed, weren't they?

MPAA was Widescreen from Series 2 on (CITV wasn't broadcast in Widescreen until 2003 though, but CITv have shown all the episodes in widescreen since).

Yes. They told Harry, but she said she already knew as she came down at 3AM and saw Brian morph into Mel and dance to Kylie!

The original titles[1999] had Barbara Durkin,Tony Gardner,Danielle McCormack,Alex Kew and Charlotte Francis. The change in 01 had Carla Medonca,Tony Gardner,Danielle McCormack,Alex Kew and Charlotte Francis. They even changed the red hair on the alien Sophie!

In 2004 it was the same but with Olisa Odele running up by the house.
In the new ones[version 4] Danielle McCormack has gone from the shot of the three and now Stephanie Fearon runs into the house and is in place of Mel basically!

Indeed, "it's all kicking off now". Snowy also made Buster look filthy.

Did you all see MPAA's Halloween special on Wednesday. Very funny episode. MPAA isn't just the best children's sitcom, it's better than most adult sitcoms thesedays.

There was also an appearance from Poppy Manning. Wikipedia will need updating again!

Just to get this thread back up,does anyone know if MoM are getting titles?

Or has anyone e-mailed them?

BTW,slightly unrelated, should CiTV get back Power Rangers? It dosen't get shown much on Toonattik, and it's too early then!

Im not sure about the titles. We'll have to find out after this "5 month break" rumor thats going round at the moment. Has this been confirmed yet?.

I've asked before but how long until the 100th Show It must be approaching us by now?. I wonder they'll celebrate (if they celebrate)

EDIT: the 100th episode is in 3 weeks time according to the now ex TV Tome

Yep MoM's 100th show is on December 3rd. Hopefully they will do something to celebrate, even if they just have a few more guests and play special editions of their games. It would be nice if they went back and played games that weren't as successful such as Watt Hurtz - which I think may actually work well, perhaps if they strapped the person in the chair so that they couldn't jump up, and Swing Ray and things.

And maybe even an old clips package.

Surely if they were finishing for 5 months, ITV would have announced if by now. If they're finishing for Christmas, they'll only have 4/5 more shows, perhaps less if they're finishing for Panto. It would be nice if they just got a replacement in, though it would have to be somebody of Stephen's standard, or around that rather than a failed pop star.

But then again it would be nice if Stephen could fit in a Christmas recording.
What am I on about, we don't even know what's happening.

They'll most probably just show films over December, though surely that won't get as many viewers.
