I think instead of being ultra-repeated over the week, they should show it more on MoM and they can scrap Spongebob and Pet Alien.

Can they still show Series 1 and 2,or has something happened with Nickelodeon? They havent shown those since about Spring 2004!

Do we know for a fact that CJ won't be in the new series?

I don't know, but there hasn't been any mention on the MPAA board of his character at all.If he is in it, it's a simple matter of editing anyway.

Feel The Fear

Brand new show called Feel the Fear launches on CiTV this november (the above article isn't specifically about the show, just mentions it)

I wonder how much longet it will go on for. The kids aren't kids any more. They have got CJ, but I'm wondering how old he actually is. CJs meant to be 8, but the actor playing him has to be older- his voice had broke! The girl who plays Lucy is 16, I think Alex Kew is 18, god knows how old Mel is- she must be in her early 20s!

Quite feasible really when you consider the entire situation.

The kids grow up and move out to be independent.
Brian and Sophie get lonely without the kids and decide to foster some more, cue different set of actors & actresses.
Repeat as those kids grow up and move out.
Plenty of opportunity for the series to run for years. Shift the kids out, get more, remorph the parents as needs be and Bob's your uncle.

Well either that or Brian and Sophie eat the current three as lunch and then decide to foster some more for a series or two and eat them as well afterwards. Could well be why Mel disappears in Series 7 - eaten by Brian.

I don't think he will!

If Danielle McCormack leaves the only original actors will be Tony Gardner,Alex Kew and the actor for Lucy.

But i suppose there is the other actors like Trent etc.

Tony Gardner, Alex Kew, Charlotte Francis, Patrick Niknejad and whatstheirnames who plays Wendy and Frankie have been in it since Series 1 back in 1999 (when it was made by "Granada Media Childrens")

Trent didn't come into it until Series 2.

Neil's idea is actually quite likely although unlike shows like The Worst Witch, changing the cast after so many series would be difficult. I'd like them to do at least another series next year to get the number of episodes over 100. They've currently done 72 + however many are in series seven

I was thinking,Howie was only in one episode and CJ was only in one series.

I think instead of having Mel and CJ already gone at the start of Series 7,i think they should leave at the start. And maybe then they could have a look to see if they can adopt anyone else and they adopt a boy called Harry!

One thing i would like to see though,is new opening titles.Maybe it could be a real life version of the old ones without Mel in and Harry replacing CJ with different text which could have character names aswell as the actor names! Then it would morph into the old logo.

Talking of MPAA,it's You Say We Play tomorrow.

I've been thinking that MPAA must be one fo CITV's longest running shows. The only shows I can think of which have ran for longer are How 2, Art Attack & Children's Ward. Anyone know if there are any more?

It's a big week on CITV next week:

Monday - My Parents are Aliens viewers choice

Tuesday - Brand New My Parents are Aliens

Wednesday - Brand New My Parents are Aliens

Thursday - Brand New The Giblet Boys

Friday - Brand New Harry Hill's Shark Infested Custard

All the above are at 4.30pm

I certainly can't think of any CITV shows that have been around for longer than Art Attack. Several on the BBC, though.
