I feel that 9pm would be an appropriate slot for CD:UK. CD:UK has moved on from SM:TV Live. It is now a show in its own right not just "that music spin off from that SMTV". I feel that M.O.M could benefit from the CD:UK slot. A new kids music program should be launched called "Ministry of Music" and it would bring more to the revised title of M.O.M. It should be presented by Stephen and Holly in the M.O.M studio. I think that is a great idea. But the question is .... do you?

They'd never be able to get the guests CD:UK gets due to their location out of London. That's why the MOM guestlist is usually less than perfect.

well its only an idea and yes, problems like that wil pop up but it could be sorted out just like the bbc proved with the 2002-2003 series of the saturday show

Not really no. In this digital era when you've access to dozens of music channels 24 hours a day, there isn't room for 2 music shows on ITV1, plus I don't think a lot of acts would go on a show that is a spin off from MOM.
A spin off from MOM would end up with the sort of desperate pop acts that would travel to Inverness FM to flog their new single and nobody else. There's no need to compete with TOTPS/R, remember CD:UK was there first before the BBC decided to copy the idea.

but how pissed off would the bbc be if they took the idea back? and the show would only last for about 20 minutes anyway includin adverts coz m.o.m always run up to 12 oclock when cduk or f1 isnt on . . .

Is Supermarket Sneak MoM's alternate version of 'Bogies'? It did have a similiar format to it!.

Well, actually it does have the same format. I don't think it is an alternative though but I must say, Supermarket Sneak is actually better than Bogies.

What did everyone think of this weeks show? I now love Supermarket Sneak! It's ace!

This is a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone has any videos of the old Ant & Dec Pokemon parodies/songs/etc? I run a Pokemon website, and I think it'd be brilliant if I could offer the readers the chance to download and watch them again.

Of course- you'll get full credit... I might even let you befriend some of the more "interesting" members of the site!

I wonder how much longet it will go on for. The kids aren't kids any more. They have got CJ, but I'm wondering how old he actually is. CJs meant to be 8, but the actor playing him has to be older- his voice had broke! The girl who plays Lucy is 16, I think Alex Kew is 18, god knows how old Mel is- she must be in her early 20s!

Mel won't be in the new series. They are keeping Trent though, how that will work I don't know.
