Michael left before Christmas, there was no mention why he was leaving, and we don't know whether it was his decision or the foundation's/granada's.

According to some press, he is going to become part of the team on the new series of Entertainment Today next Friday 9th September.

As for MoM, a new character sounds interesting, I wonder what they will do tomorrow, I would have thought if anything were to change they would have waited until the CiTV channel launch.

As for CiTV's MoM news, Tim said that they had Captain Scarlet, Planet Sketch and Brand New Spongebob on MoM tomorrow.

Great show today. I thought the new dog was cute but I was expecting a new character or something. No new titles or anything, but it was still a good show. I didn't think Planet Sketch was that funny.

So MoM has a hint of Blue Peter in it now with the new pet. Stephen told us how we will watch him grow over time. Well lets hope the show lasts as long then. A good show today. With Dick N Dom back in a few weeks, I know where my money is at for the moment.

The thing about a puppy is that it will be an adult in a year to 18 months time anyway. As far as I'm aware, the show's been renewed through 2006, so even if it doesn't get renewed further, we still still see it grow up.

Indeed a great show, especially liked Richard taking part in Ram Ray, the lab with the racket man, and my favourite parts jointly were the Annie song about picking a name for the dog (brilliant!!!), and the drag racing with The Doc, Mr Lee, Ray, Scratch and Sniff dressed in drag, mainly for the Doc's line of "Mr Lee will be so disapointed"!

Yes Richard Fleeshman and Jack P Shephard were great guests this week, they got involved in everything. The other parts as you mention were good as well, definally better than last week.

Mr Lee is rushed off his feet lately isn't he, besides poping up to say 'Serious Lee', he hardly does anything!. A bit like Ray in the early days

I have to say I don't watch Childrens TV at all now really but can see why this show is doing so well, they seem to have the mix right. It's not SMTV but it does.

Does anyone know if they are any plans to celebrate ITV's 50th Birthday of it's children's programmes (lncluding the CITV ones) like it did 10 years ago?

MOM are celebrating on September 17th:

As part of the ITV50 celebrations, Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern are joined by a host of stars from Saturday Morning shows past and present. Plus, classic clips and memorable games and new episodes of Captain Scarlet, SpongeBob SquarePants and Planet Sketch- from radiotimes.com

Sounds good!

Do we think we will see Chris Tarrant & Lenny Henry on this at all?
