Today's MOM was the best I have seen for a long time. The bubble machine at the start and end was great, as it added more 'mess'. Plus, Holly got gunged during the show and there was more mess at the end with the Shoutout desk. The beginning was good as the grid idea wasn't used, and the end was good with the shortened MOM song with the person off X-Factor singing it. I think it is great how Ram Ray is themed differently each week to fit in with who is on the show or what is happening around that time. The lab was great, with the german girl dancing with 'Schnappy' the croc, and a man balancing a mini on his head! Plus the new game Dare was a good addition to the show. Plus, there was the return of Name That Tone and no boring 'Question and Answer' session during the show with Anthony. I thought the game 'Gunge and Groove' would have had some sort of logo, but since it was a one off it didn't really matter. I don't know why they have stopped using the MOM logo after each cartoon, but it did get repetitive seeing the same thing all the time. So, there was more mayhem and mess, the way the show should always be- much better than it has been for a long time!
The only part of the show I am getting bored with is the Hyeenas scaring people. Today Holly said she loses her voice because of her screaming when Stephen jumps out at her! Hopefully the show will be this good next week.

I didn't like this morning's intro, The fact that Stephen and Holly were tied up didn't seem to serve a purpose as they got free straight away. Plus I don't like random mess just for the sake of it, SM:TV never resorted to a bit of gunge when they've got a spare 2 minutes, which is basically what the Thank You Desk is all about.

According to the MoM website there's a new character arriving to the Ministry who will be introducing us to this weeks show. Is this a taste of things to come?.
There's mention of new NEW Captain Scarlett but no mention of NEW Spongebob on the website which they plugged quite a lot last week instead it looks like they're still showing Drake and Josh
surley they've shown all episodes of this for the second time round?. I didnt get in to it the first time and i havent got in to it the second time surley they can show something better than this?!.

I hope they have titles! I know the old ones have got Micheal, the twins etc on but they can either edit them or put them back on there!
Maybe use the edit from just before they got rid of them. They could have a completely new part when the ministry flies up,maybe have everyone in the studio going upwards to give the effect they're actually in the Ministry and then have the Ministry landing etc.

The MOM site says:
There’s also a very special new member on the MOM team who we’ll be introducing you to on this week’s show…
Not 'who is introducing the show', so the opening titles will probably be the same (hopefully not!)
Do you think there will be a new presenter this week?
A small improvement I think they could make to the exisiting titles would be to use the Christmas version (without the snow etc) but with trees in the background, instead of the background looking like a blur. Hopefully the song, etc will be on again at the start and end.
FriendsFanatic- When you said MOM had an 'end of series' feel, do you mean last weeks show did, and if so what makes you think this?

Sorry to be so late with this, but did any of you hear Stephen ask for contestants for a new game show called 'Find and Keep' on MOM? Hope they're bringing back Finders Keepers! I loved that show, would Neil Bucanhan (Spelt wrong I know) host it again with Jet from Gladiators!? Oh and the 3,2,1 style clues to find the object. I am quite excited I must tell you!

They are bringing back Finders Keepers.
Though if recent remakes are anything to go by, it'll have all the appeal of a toilet brush.
It'll be good if it goes back to its original format, not that silly incarnation that killed it in 1998.

I remember that, yeah the original remake of the nickelodeon version was fantastic. But yeah, the 'lets find car parts in an oil pit' game did leave a lot to be desired. I liked the matching game on the screen. And that they had to earn the rooms rather than just get given them and if you do better well done. Wonder if the house will be the huge structure like last time, or they'll just put the rooms along side each other and edit it so that it looks like a house? I would like to see a REAL studio audience too, something they don't tend to do too much anymore.
