I doubt they are getting any studio, maybe when they start a channel we might seem something, but it is done at Granada now so the old sets will have gone anyway.

I would guess the old set has been binned, as CiTV moved to Granada (as you said) and the old CiTV studio was sacrificed for Central News East. Though saying that, there's no reason why they can't have a studio running for CiTV, as Granada/3SixtyMedia isn't running at full capacity, in fact it's being underused at the moment.

Well you don't need a studio to do something like this...

The company featured have produced good quality stuff for ITV in the past, albeit when ITV was mainly only regions.

All you really need is a camera and a blue screen. It's the bare minimum, but it's better than just an announcer.

I'd rather have that than OOV or virtual animals!

I don't think that new voiceover person is as good as Tim.He was rubbish at My Prizes Are Amazing yesterday.

I hope they're planning presenters in one way or another in Sept. Even if it is Granada [runs to the sick bucket],they can do the CSO. And Central still produce it don't they?

The CiTV voice-over was called Tim Confused:

Just as I start to get used to this whole no presenter thing they change the damn voice-over! The new 1 is awful!

On another note, next week CiTV has 22 shows, all of them are repeats. (not counting MOM or CD:UK).

Could it just be that Tim's on holiday, I know they are now recorded, but surely he must still get around 3-4 weeks holiday. After all, I think I'm right in saying that he's done every weekday since he started last August.

Alternatively, they could be using this new one as a fill in, just how they used a women instead of Steve Ryde before presenters were brought back in May 1998. But saying that, Steve was the producer of the then new in vision.

Well, I have a stark feeling unless Krypto suddenly becomes Justice Leauge unlimited, MOM's goign to have it today.

The sound problems on TSS are horiffic.

So...what do you think was good/bad about today's MoM? I didn't see 'Judge Mental' and there are still no proper titles or songs (or indeed 'Mayhem' at all) - these were the main 'bad points' in my opinion. Sure, the sound was diabolical in TSS today, but in regards to sheer mayhem, TSS wins every week - I make sure to watch both every week (flicking between them both). MoM seems dependant on saying 'Did you know? Matt Lucas - one of the stars of 'Little Britain' does one of the voices in 'King Arthur's Disasters!' - can't they think of another way to sell the show to the viewers?
What did you think?

That's why the show was renamed MoM ages ago. Because the so called Mayhem became very false and the show is much better for it.

Anyway, I thought today's show was a good one. Notice the start of the show was the same as last week's which must be a first!, and therefore looks like they have found a semi-permanent way of starting the show. The introductions in the grid and then the short song. I'll have more thoughts on this week's show later

I almost missed the start though as I watching in amazement the car crash TV going on on the other side!

I thought Saturdays show was the best they've done for a while!. They actually had a proper interview with the guests for once!. Ram Ray was different this week, it had the McFly logo on the doors instead of the numbers also a really insulting but funny bit happened on Saturday on Holly's side anyway: After Stephen was having 'problems' with the sound effect for the thrid option for next week's Ram Ray question a cow sound effect was heard and we cut to Holly afterwards and stephen was heard in the background saying 'Thats a cow'.

Also why does age group in the audience change when ever McFly are on?. Most of the audience members looked twice the normal age they have in the audience this week.

I thought MOM this week was one of the worst I have ever seen.

Good points:
-The doc was back
-Ram Ray
-Balcony area used again, more coloured panels put up
-Cakey Sk8- wall back to normal and actual game was quite messy

Bad points:
-No Food Fight, Double Trouble, Name That tone, Judgemental or Jibber Jabber, instead there was a boring 'Mc Fly' quiz
-From 11:00, there was nothing apart from Mc Fly- the quiz, a boring question and answer session and Mc Fly performing. Although actually interviewing the guests is a good idea, when the last half hour is just them I think it's a bit much for those who aren't really interested in who the guests are
-Hyeenas sketch- takes up too much time and is not funny
-Hyeenas scaring people- again not that funny as it has been on for too many weeks
-Relly from Helly- don't think this works well when you find out what happens after the break
-No mayhem apart from Cakey Sk8, which was right at the start of the show
-Too much time wasted by cartoons and Drake & Josh- 3 parts altogether was enough, but they have gone back to 4- 2 parts being Drake & Josh, the other 2 parts being King Arthurs Disasters

Anyway, this week MOM is on until 12, the week after it's only on until 10:30.

After watching almost every single MOM, I think the show is starting to go down hill again compared to what it was even a few weeks back. There aren't enough games, sketches, mess. Since the new producer took over it hasn't been as good.
