I'm back, and I apologise for all for my absense. I hope you all missed me!
Anyway, to explain myself, I've been working loads, the internet's been broken and I then went and did my ankle in, though I'm now getting over it!

I've kept up to date with MoM, with the new ideas, well idea really being Judge mental that the new producer has brought in. The show could still be improved, I don't like the lack of proper identity that the show has with no real titles and menu's, not even ending with the song or anything (when no guest performs) is very strange.

I presume that they will do some titivating, though I hope for a major relaunch. It's a shame that they can't use the 12000 sq ft studio that was opened earlier in the year, now that would be a show!

As for the whole CiTV channel, etc idea, it would be nice, I hope they do develop something and soon! Maybe actually recreating the CiTV brand, putting some life back into it. They must have the space in Manchester for a studio somewhere, plus setting up the whole of CiTV in Manchester as a proper part of ITV would mean that ITV would have achieved the setting up in Manchester much quicker than the BBC have done.

As for MoM till 12 situation. I read somewhere that it was a summer arrangement, though it would be nice for it to continue. And even better if ITV did gain control of GMTV, replace the kids strand with CiTV, meaning that technically MoM could start at anytime, such as 9am.

As for cd:uk, it's strange that it's been moved to 10:50 on a sunday morning. Surely a sunday afternoon, around the time of the start of the chart and before TOTP would be better, though personally I'd like it on a Saturday afternoon/evening around 5pm.

I hope you're feeling better now! Smile

It was around this time last year MoM got a new set!. I like the idea of Mrs Lee filling in for Mr Lee but according to the website Mr Lee is back so im wondering if we'll see Mr & Mrs Lee on-screen together? Now that would be funny!. MoM is back finishing at it's normnal time 11:30 because of the racing this week, im liking the finishing at 12pm idea.

We got the song at the start of last saturday's show and they had kids scattered around the studio floor spelling out the words MOM however it didnt look like it as the camera kept changing angles!.

Not the greatest start. I'd much prefer everyone running around and dancing.
As for Mr & Mrs Lee, I feel a feature brewing...

As for a relaunch, they will leave it until everyone's had their holidays. Surely Ray must be due some, and the Doc is most probably owed at least another week off.
I don't even know why they relaunched in July last year, it was very strange.

I take it that you mean Michael?
I don't think anybody really knows, well anybody outside of the Maidstone Studios.

I heard that he chose to leave to go on and do something else, though of course you can never be 100% certain.

Hi there, new to this but a big fan of MoM!!! Have been reading your comments and it's great to find other people love the show like me! I watched in wonder at the Ministry of Mayhem last Saturday as Holly held things together with the absence of Stephen. I really liked the doc in a frock and Ram Rays olde style doors. As usual he made me laugh when he picked up his leg instead of the horses head. I was interested to see that there is a new website set up for ray www.raymondgriffiths.co.uk and that he's not just the stunt man i thought he was!! Laughing

...Where 2 teams hunt about in a series of rooms in a hunt to find a quality ITV schedule that doesn't involve celebrities or Bond.

Nice to see a good show revived, providing they don't use the format they used in the final series.

Absolutely agree with that. The garage door questions and then simply raiding the rooms was far superior.
The only part that I did like - and this is from memory - was before the final round where the teams had to race across, one on the top and one on the bottom. Plus actually going into the garage wasn't bad, it was just the way that they raided rooms.

Glad to see that they're bringing it back, hopefully with Mr. Buchannan at the helm, he's still in CiTV territory, so I can't see why not, if he'd want to of course.

Speaking of gameshows from the foundation, what's happened to globoloco? Are they not going to make a 3rd series? I know that they get busy with MoM, etc, but surely they could.
