Well there seemed to be more live time with the presenters today than we've had everyday combined since the relaunch happened!. There could have been even more time as well as on a few occasions trailers were played back to back, including the same trailers (such as Globo Loco) played more than once half an hour apart

Good to see "Bag to Swag" back as well today!
I'm not too big a fan of the Bag a Swag thing. The voice grates.
Mind you I never liked Otis the Aardvark initially either but there you go.
Globo Loco is, well, weird. You Bet for kids I suppose. I like the style of "Dad" though on that show except for that silly grin and those typical dad-jumpers (can just see him doing "dad-dancing" Jim Davidson style ) but nothing's perfect.
Wow! SM:tv Gold has been really good so far and it's great to hear the old music again. I'm actually laughing at Dec Says... it shows how much the 'comedy' has changed.
Yesturday's CiTV: Great show, more link times, which was great, bag the swag, great as ever, but they could have easily had one trailer before every show and had more time.
I can understand plugging a show, but the globo loco trailer featured 4 times yesturday, and its a repeat! They seem to be trailing the afternoons programmes, i'd much prefer to see a menu with the presenters telling you what's coming up.
I liked the song at the top, it shows that the little time that they are putting into live links is being produced creatively, including having swag taking to the lobster, I dont know who the bloke is, unless he's a crew member, he's very talented though!
I'm still not a fan of the studio. Its too bare, confusing, white, minimal and looks like it was built to be small. Im sure it would look wierd on a wide shot. They shoud have kept the basic structure of the old studio but fill it full of rubbish, old parts of sets, inflatible things, to make it look like they are broadcasting from a props department with loads of colour!
SMTV GOLD: Nice to have the old music, would have prefered the original of the tune (not the original as in the cd:uk remix, though it would be memorable). Nice gold twist to the set and the sofas being covered, dont know why.
Stephen, Des & Louise got on well, better than I would have expected. Nice kissing scene from them pair on louise, that had me laughing! So did all of the old sketches even though Ive seen them all before. I would have loved to have seen ant & duck, that just cracks me up for the way they came about it.
For those that dont know it started as at the start of one show they were have supposed to receive a letter from the boss of citv claiming that they dont cater for young children, and so this was formed with ant in full spirit, and dec not wanting to play a duck! Classic.
Nice idea with the titles as well to have the old titles playing as well as classic clips. Eat my goal was funny with chris eubank, i havent watched wonkey donkey yet, when did they play this? Ive seen all the that's so ravens many times on disney so they made me laugh the first couple of times, cant wait for the new series of sabrina to come to sm:tv though!
And having pokemon back on just made it seem like old saturday mornings were back.
Nice of them to credit ant, dec, cat and all of the writers of the sketches in the credits which came at the end of sm:tv!
Notice how "Casually" came last in the poll, as if it had a chance against Dec Say's!
Other classic sketches shown today were a Pokefight, Chums, Anty and Decy the garden goblins (though no Prozac The Giggle Fairy this time, all were hilarious!
They have got a good idea by using the sketches that were great in ant & decs era with the liveness of sm:tv. Stephen & Des seemed to put more effort into the links that they did get.
It would be nice if they could bring back a challenge ... element of the show. Just to see how the two do handle true live tv. They have a real partnership going, even though its bound not to happen, Id love to see des as part of the new show, even if he just does an ob or something.
So, if by what they at the top of the show, they are to be joined by a guest presenter who's helped before every week, we are going to see a lot of all male shows. Dane Bowers, Darius, Jonathan Wilkes. The only females I can think of are the three from steps, louise, emma bunton, billie piper and patsy palmer.
the only thing i hope they do is vary the voting in sketches. Ant and Dec sketched like Dec Says will win every time and id like to see other ones too, like the catelogue girls - i thought that was a really good sketch for when A+D were away.
Due to the viewers loving ant & dec they will vote them every time. They should put non ant & dec things into a vote, such as casually, the vicar of dribbley and the catalogue girls, or big bother (brian, tess , h & claire era), eminemmerdale, table footballers wives and things.
SM:tv Gold was rather good - they pulled it off. The only thing is when I was a kid you just had to tune in to the last episode for the highlights - now you have to commit to 15 weeks.
The polls are OK, but as said above some need to be an Ant & Dec free zone.
Think Des & Stephen work well together, and possibley with a new female host they could have taken the show forward against the rubbish that is Dick & Dom in Da Bungalow.
Funniest moment: The guy from Liberty X after missing his penalty "S*#!"
Notice the idea of "Pop Pop Idol" seems to have been dropped. Maybe its just fallen into the CITV black hole, along with Shavaughan Rukare and the final episode of UP2U!
