Moving back to CiTV,I don't know how long they can stay without presenters,or even keep CiTV. January 2004 they fell down quite a bit but at least they were holding it together. Now for 9 months it's had things being lost all the time. They could at least have something like the Town except now it would probably be a spaceport or something.

BTW,has anyone got any april 2002 or september 2003 stuff? There's caps of the april 2002 graphics at C-TV,but that's about it.

Asa did have bits from the relaunch in September 2003 on TV Home, I'm not sure whether he'll still have anything. I'm sure I've got them somewhere though.

The problem when you say that it started to trip was because the branding was so diverse. It was basically incorporate the CiTV logo into something relevant to a programme, and it did hold up well in 2003 where they had the different versions of the then new 4 note sting which worked very well indeed in my opinion.

One of the areas that I felt it was let down in was set design, personally I would have kept the basic shell to the old loved set, or tweak it, I wouldn't have gone down the lines of the effort that they did that didn't really work that well on TV, of course one of the great things from 2003 was Swag, plus the extra time given to Leah & Michael on a Friday.

Thinking about it though, technically Leah has disapeared from Studio Disney (along with most of them), Michael left the Ministry, one day I suppose they could be brought back together, who know's.

I'm not a supporter of un presented links, though perhaps given time they will revert back. In my opinion the popularity of CiTV boosted when it went live, especially around 2000/1 when it became so interactive, and so lively, remember at one point for a few months they had 6 presenters! How time's have changed.

How did they go from producing something as great as CiTV's Birthday Bash, to nothing basically?

The three best idents i think we've had are:
Magic ident
Merry-go-round ident
January 2004 weekend ident
They've messed it all up now, with some having characters from shows doing weird things, some that are quite good [like the mixes and another one] and the idents are as messed up as Studio's presenting by the sounds of it!

Don't suppose you've got any sept 03 idents have you fanoftv?

Im suprised no-one's mentioned saturday's show yet.

It was a bit dull for me this week mainly because Food Fight and Name that tone are now turning stale, they need more new ideas or more money in the budget!. The only thing thats always on top form is the lab and the doc, again his experiment failed to go on cue so while they waited for it to go the doc and Stephen did a bit of ad-lib and referenced to past experiments like the bubbles, the liver rocket and the pencil last week.

Jennifer Ellison is quite a good presenter she seemed quite nervous to me but she did a good job!. I hope they give her another chance to guest present!.

I also liked the hyena's mock up of the lab after Mr Singh blew up that hot water bottle!.

I wonder what Akon would be like as a guest. Lonely is hillarious!

Yes Jennifer was great especially the bit when she showed off her fake tattoos on her stomach to Stephen. The second time he lifted up her top, you saw half of her bra. Mmmh lol. Sorry Smile

It was Kevin Simm btw, he of Liberty X who was recently a competitor on Channel 4's The Games.

As for the matter of boys v girls, the boys won by 6 - 5, and so Stephen got to cut Jenifer's hair, I can only presume that she's had extensions put into her hair!

It was amusing when Stephen was explaining what would happen. Towards the start (I think) when he said "if the girls win Jennifer gets to wax my chest" the Doc added "hey you usually let me do that", which caused Stephen to struggle to keep a straight faces. I thought that Jennifer was quite a good guest presenter.

Also naughty Gerri, muting her mic whilst not infront of the cameras. Even I know that if you mute your mic you must remember to de-mute it before going back on.

As for Ray dressed half as male, half as female I shall not comment.

I didn't see all of today's MOM, the bit between Part 1 of Drake and Josh and Name That Tone. What did I miss?

Cilla from corrie was a good guest

Also have you noticed Ray's Crazy Frog doesn't really look or sound anything like the real one!

You missed one of the best shows that I've seen in ages.

They started poorly with everyone singing I'm so excited, can't remember why now though.
They then had Food Fight which for the first time Holly & Stephen joined in on, and it was more of a contest between those two.
They had the usual break teases like Serious Lee and the Hyena's scaring, plus a new one where the Doc, Mr Lee and Ray had to walk down a track with an egg between their legs without dropping it from between their bottom cheeks.

As for Ram Ray, it was a bit different, as they had small doors and a slide. They covered Ray in grease and he had to slide towards the doors, it wasn't that good as he went through first time, though Holly & Stephen then stripped off and had a go, with Stephen not getting that far first time.

The lab was as funny as ever, except it left me wondering how they got away with it all, such as the Doc calling one of the cameramen a bummer.

And at the end they had the return of the Thank You Desk, even though that's where the show ended, everyone was covered.

It's a shame that they've almost irradicated the song now, from the top end and throughout the show.
