It sounded like M.O.M was having some sound difficulties today, the ringtones and the answers to them sounded like how my walkman sounds when the batteries go!.

I noticed that too, the "Mr. Lee, Mr. Lee" song sounded awful. I didn't notice it so much during the actual game because I missed most of that.

I see Jibba Jabba actually appeared this week. Quite a good idea- and a VERY Bro & Bro-esque ending!

Jibba Jabba is quite a good game. I guess they didn't show it last week, like they said they would, because they ran out of time, because apparently Tajja Isen (voice of Atomic Betty) who was on last week was supposed to sing another song, besides the Atomic Betty theme, but didn't because they ran out of time.

Todays show wasn't so good in places, mainly because they showed Drake & Josh. It just felt completely out of place and, for me, disrupted the flow and feel of the show, plus meant we lost an extra 20mins of items. Hopefully next week they'll bring back Atomic Betty.

Captain scarlet was awesome again today, the past 3 weeks they've all been really amazing.
But last week they said they would swap Ram Ray around with Food Fight because of complaints, but they put it back to normal, maybe they got complaints from those that prefered it the other way round?
I thought Joe & Shana Swash (Micky & Demi Miller from EastEnders) were good guests, I didn't think they would be. It nice to see a twist to Cakey Skate too.

I'd like to see the boucany in the Ministry set turned round the other way replacing the revolving door that they no longer use and fill it with walls. Have the audience standing on the bouncany and around the studio and have the couch (which they no longer use) in front the bouncany like SM:tv or is that too SM:tv like? and It would mean they'll have to move The lab and Holly and Stephen's Area to another area of the studio. Anyone else like?

Which makes you wonder what they are going to do with the balcony! lol sorry Smile

Still, MoM is getting better and better as each week goes by and has got me converted from Dick N Dom when they were on recently.

It's noticable now that CBBC always have a programme on during the summer now. Between 1996 and 1998 they ran the Saturday Aardvark & Planet Saturday in 1999 (as Otis had left), and it's notable that the last time they did that, they lost viewers to SM:TV and didn't beat them in the ratings for nearly 4 years! Obviously piss poor post- Zoe & Jamie L&K, FBi & TSS Mk I didn't help get viewers back.

MoM is improving, definatly much better than it was, though I still don't think it's up to SM:TVs standards IMO, except possible the post-Brian Dowling episodes when they know they were axed and left effort. PArt of the improvement has to to Scratch & Sniff, though at least in John & Don's Bro & Bro and Sage & Onion incarations, they always had their own segments on the show, the Hyenas never seem to appear without the presenters. They could do with their own segments, sans Holly & Stephen.

I think if they do split the year then i think MoM should run from the 3rd saturday of June till the 2nd Saturday of December. Then dec-jun there should be this weekend lineup:
Saturday:
9.25 CiTV
9.45 SMTV Studio [i think MoM should get this time aswell]
12.00-12.30 cd:uk
Sunday:
9.25 CiTV with Eliminator or UP2U
9.55-10.25 cd:uk
I think they could be more up to date with the chart if they had 2 half-hour CD:uk's instead of 1 hour-long show. SMTV Studio would be a SM:tv format show, using the original theme[maybe edit it] instead of the 1999 one.

Will INK get rid of CITV? Confused

The proposed 'INK' brand means ITV Nickelodeon Kids, so effectively yes. Though for me, I could only see it working if both the CiTV and Nick brands were merged together to create INK. Having INK along with Nick wouldn't really work in my mind.

I think the best way would be to retain the established brands of CiTV and Nickelodeon, yet share programming. Especially if ITV are launching a children's channel, it would boost the amount of programmes that they could use, plus the CITV brand would fit and connect it to the ITV brand.
