A really good MOM this morning, it really is getting better.
Again, no Pet Alien although it was mentionned in the promo. I think two shows are much better.
Food Fight was very good today, with Stephen slipping all over the place and then started throwing food when the winner was announced. Despite what people say, I think Jade Goody was a really good guest this morning, joining in with most of the games in a lively manner.
Ir was so funny when Stephens mum called up and told Stephen off for being nasty to Holly live on TV.
The Hyena's were very funny today aswell, I liked it where one of the fell into the cactus and then Stephen stepped onto one of their tails where he said "im using the word tail modestly" I was lmao.
ram ray was funny this morning where number four fell off ad then collapsed by the time ray was going tom "ram" it.
Cakey sk8 was OK this wekk, is it just me or is this getting very samey and a little stale now. Although it was funny where Jade caked 'Polly' really hard in the face. Ouch! That must of hurt!
Burp and animal was quite good aswell, Jade punching the hyena then calling it "I can punch and animal" was so funny
name that tome was Ok this week, its a shame Stephen didn't get to chat to Mr. Lee this week much and I think it should be moved back to its original time because I loved it seeing Mr Lee rolling accross the floor and Holly climbing over to the ThankYou desk.
Speaking of the ThankYou desk, they should re-name it as its not a desk anymore plus they dont say thanks. Its more of a Hello area now which is OK but I like it where Holly got covered in gunge, not just one bucket.
So, overall I think todays MOM deserves a:
9/10
Well done to all of the MOM team this week!

I like Mr. Lee's gag's, although i normally get them the second time round!.
The chicken and frog fight was funny the first time. Also i'd like to see the pre-title sequence go straight in to some actual opening titles, the current opening is getting on my nerves a bit now!, but it was a good show today as always.
I'd like to see the gunge tank back at the end.

Right..... and when was the last time you saw religious programming on ITV during a Saturday morning?
Apparently on Digital Spy, Jade Goody was on this morning and said the Bow Locks word out loud claiming "Thats Bow Locks" The presenter in question wasn't sure what she said and asked her to repeat it before a hasty apology came up.
No she didn't. She actually said something that I thought sounded like My A*se but when Stepehen asked her what she said it was actually 'Biased' in that strange voice of hers, refering to the fact that Holly's team had just got a point in Name That Tone

About the cut, is it regarding ofccom's requirements to show more religious programming?. A bit horrible if it is (no offence) but i prefer two hours of M.O.M.

Look at the shedule again, it's being cut because of the F1 Grand Prix Qualifying, I doubt it has anything to do with the upcoming cuts in CiTV, well I hope not. It would never work if it was only on for an hour.
I doubt they'll miss out Captain Scarlet, it's their flagship show, they'll just cut some of the items and possibly Atomic Betty so they can fit more items in, though they said it would still be on next week, though they also said Pet Alien was going to be on todays show. Captain Scarlet is about 30mins approx. and Atomic Betty is 10mins approx. That would be 40 minutes of their 1 hour, plus with ad breaks, that would leave them with about 10 minutes of items. Maybe they will keep Atomic Betty and Scarelt and just have Ram Ray and possibly a short section with the Doc. That cut in time would explain why they gave the number for Ram Ray for NEXT weeks show, instead of doing it before the first ad break on the day, so that will definately be on.

They'll have to miss out Captain Scarlett next week if that schedule is correct. Instead of an hour, why not put it on in the afternoon like they did with SM:tv gold when the footie was on?. Will it get more viewers if they did that?.

With it being an hour maybe they will use the occasion to do a pre-record and have a week off next week.
I seriously doubt they will show Captain Scarlet as it seems to have a fixed 11am slot or else they get complaints, they'll probably just have Atomic Betty, Ram Ray, The Doc, maybe drop Name That Tone and Food Fight, and have Cakey Sk8

I can't really say much that hasn't been said, it was another great hilarious show. It was good to see the hyenas getting a bit more air time, they were even more hilarious this week. The lab was also great too.
One bad thing about the show is the way the teams are organised in Name That Tone, it's totaly unfair to have 3-on-2, last week it was 6-on-2 or something wasn't it!? They really need to keep it as 2-on-2 as it was in the begining.
I also think they should maybe think of some twist to cakey skate, as you said it's begining to get stale (pun intended??), though the cake fight at the end is usually good. Maybe instead of trying to get as high as they can, they should have Stephen or a guest as a target, or something like that.
I agree about the new Thank You Desk, it was better to see Holly, and occasionally a guest, to get every single bucket, and not just one.
I flicked over to the Saturday Show briefley during the ad break, the bit I saw looked like it wasn't going to appeal to older viewers, I don't know why but I feel the whole show would have gone in that direction, I hope it did because maybe those that used to watch Dick 'n' Dom will flick over to MoM.
But yes, great show once again.

I still don't think they'll drop Scarlet, though you make a valid point about the complaints, because some people might just tune in when Scarlet is on. But as I said, because it's their flagship programme I can't see them dropping it, though it is possible. Actually, did they advertise Scarlet would be on next week at the end? I remember Holly and the Doc saying 'I can't believe we have to wait a whole week to see it again' when the episode finished.
I don't think it'll be pre-recorded, because they won't be able to play Ram Ray if they did that, unless they get the contestants to come to the studio... or just phone them and tell the contestants what the situation with the doors is. But I think it'll still be live.

Looks like we'll finally be getting a new series on CiTV, anybody else see that new show being advertised "King Arthurs Disasters" with Rik Mayall and Matt Lucas providing the voices.
It said it was coming soon, so I think they'll either put it in place of Globo Loco when the current series has finished being repeated; put it in the place of Atomic Betty when the current season has finished being repeated, instead of replacing it with the new season; or replace one of the Art Attack episodes.
Personally I'd prefer to see it in place of Art attack, reducing it to 1 episode a week.

Interesting, finally a new series. They only have Girls In Love (which seems wrong to me placed on a friday), and Globo Loco.
Atomic Betty ahs been repeated to death, as has My Parents Are Aliens, which even I'm getting sick of now. As for Art Attack, not only are they repeating the last series, yet they're repeating the series before that was repeated last summer as well.
I just hope that they sort out CiTV, it was one of the only areas of ITV that was consitantly good.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the schedules when the times change. Apparently Dora the Explorer is scheduled in for the 3.30 - 4.00 slot, so I'd imagine the ammount of repeats (or at least the frequency that things are repeated) will drop down quite a bit.

Dora's definately on a week friday after the wedding blessing. Plus with it being after Easter there may be more new programmes in the schedules, we'll just have to see.
I don't understand why they air Dora. It seems to take up too much time for me. And I'm sure it would turn off older viewers, but it's their choice at the end of the day.
