I watched a whole CITV today and they really do need a shake up of some sort.
They played the same Bernard trailer twice between 3.30pm and 4pm and then the same MPAA trailer three times between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Let's hope with the move to Manchester they can sort themselves out

The reason for this is to try and keep viewers tuned in. For example if somebody only watched CiTV for SpongeBob they may have no idea what else is on and if they keep advertising it may help them to keep that viewer watching.

It's not just on CiTV, it's ITV too, because a few weeks ago whenever I was watching ITV after 6 all I kept seeing were those annoying Corrie 'Killer Kathy' trailers nearly every ad break.

Agree with that. I'm still seeing them at the moment, though as I said before in another post, if Corrie was anything like that trailer, I'd certainly watch it.

Yep I was think the same thing.
I imagine that they will use 3:30 for tots to 3:45 and then show mucha lucha, mr bean, pet alien, spongebob, etc in the 3:45 slot, then two 30 minute programmes.

Maybe the cut won't be as bad as first thought. We were all saying that it would probably only be an hour of CiTV, and some of that time would be tots shows. But looks like we've got 1hour 15minutes (1hour 30mins if you include the tots shows) of CiTV. If you make that time arrangement with the current shows, the tots stuff would go in place of Mr. Bean and then everything else would stay as it already is. So all we're are losing is the slot for Mr.Bean, which is getting the Pet Alien treatment at the moment. Rolling Eyes

Yeah. Though perhaps extending the tots shows would be an interesting move, especially for those without CBeebies, Nick Jr or Playhouse Disney.
And it may attract more viewers to a follow up programme. If they don't have one on Nick, it may be an idea to trial it on ITV2. Even though ITV say it's for 16-34 yr olds, I don't agree that 16-34 year olds are attracted to repeats of corrie and emmerdale, judge judy and sally jessie raphael.

LoveTV!!
I'd love to see CiTV have a studio and some presenters back again, maybe even get Danielle back because I thought she was such a brilliant presenter. I also think they should get the old theme music back from the 1999-2000 period as I loved that tune, nowadays they dont seem to have a tune (not even the rubbish 4 note one).

If CITV1 is concentrating for the younger viewers (I think it was about 9-13) then they should have a slot on ITV2 from 5-7pm simply called CITV2 with some presenters introducing some classic/teen shows such as Sabrina, Girls In Love, maybe some older game shows like Get Wet and Finders Keepers and some cartoons like Hey Arnold, The Baskerville family (remember that?), Angry Beavers etc. I reckon this would be a good idea as teenagers are in at about 5pm and there's nothing much for them on at that time.

Anyway, back to CiTV and I noticed that they showed the top 10 MOM moments in a new slot named something to do with Bananas (wasnt paying attention) and on the MOM preview it was only stephen so maybe Holly is on holiday this week, I wonder who will fill in?

Holly's on holiday this week?, it'll be interesting to see if they get anyone to fill in, though it would probably be McFly helping Stephen out as they're scheduled for tomorrow. I wonder what M.O.M will do for their 100th? which i've worked out will be on the 3rd December.

WHEN WILL WE FIND OUT WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH SATURDAY MORNINGS? Hopefully we'll have a trailer after D&D!
I hope it's TSS next week, because March-September is 6 months, which is fairer than 5 months.D&D treat the saturday show so badly, last year when TSS started the Dick and Dom website stayed up but when D&D started again the saturday show website scarpered!

I prefer TSS to Dick and Dom,i actually hated dick and dom for a few weeks! I've started the thread now:

This morning's MoM had a bit of an end of series feel to it, with lots of long running jokes coming to a conclusion and items being done slightly differently. Of course it isn't though and they'll be back next week!

Firstly Food Fight with Mums and Grandmas, next week they'll have 2 new teams. Ram Ray was a bit poor because the caller got it right first time meaning Ray didn't have chance to "Have another go" or ram into any wooden doors!

The lab had Holly in it instead of Stephen with the return of one of the guests from a few weeks ago, and Holly scared Stephen instead of the other way round.
Then Ray Crazy Frog got attacked by the chick in Name That Tone. (1, 2, 3) Mr Lee (Mr Lee Mr Lee...) was as odd as ever

Also there was a bit of a new item where we had to guess who it was in photos of them when they were younger. Whether this is a new item or just an excuse to see Danny as a child we'll find out next week. It did use the music from Double Trouble though.

There was a perfectly normal edition of Cakey Sk8 as well

It's almost a blast from the past having the hyenas on the show, being virtually identical to Bro & Bro. I'm sure most people aged between 16 and 25 must have seen either What's Up Doc or Wolf It at one time or another, so any of them watching MoM (like me) will appreciate them straight away! They're up to Bro & Bro's tricks already- after McFly's performance at the end: Hyena 1: "Did you enjoy that, Children?" Hyena 2: "What Children?". Great! There was one with a stormtrooper as well, but I'dve thought that a stormtropper was just mechanical, no meat in there at all!
