Anybody else notice todays SpongeBob was shown only a few weeks ago? I thought maybe they were just going to start doing what they did with Pet Alien. But I looked at next weeks Radio Times and Mucha Lucha is replacing SpongeBob and it looks like it's a new season because it doesn't say it's a repeat. Good news that they've got something unseen on CiTV, hopefully soon they'll show the new season of Atomic Betty too. So less repeats on CiTV, for a while at least.

I could do an advert:
I had a good year till now. Then you go and do this!CiTV with no episodes of Eliminator yet and it's March!
Then the slogan would be:
You know Eliminator's a great show!
That was Hellman's Mayonnaise if you couldn't tell! I'm not too good at Hellman's Mayonnaise adverts, lol.

Yeah I've noticed that too.
Hopefully they'll show some new shows soon.
I'm still wondering if they're saving commissioned programmes until the April changes, as we sort of now know that the changes will mean less CiTV time, plus there are the discussions over the CiTV - INK time and Nick taking over control of the slot, etc.

I watched a whole CITV today and they really do need a shake up of some sort.
They played the same Bernard trailer twice between 3.30pm and 4pm and then the same MPAA trailer three times between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Let's hope with the move to Manchester they can sort themselves out

Sorry to tell you, but they're already at Manchester, this is what Manchester has brought us!
Plus judging by the way the competition winners are announced the following week, I'd say it was pre recorded now too.
Though they do have a nice new little CiTV promo.

The move to Manchester was a very quite one, but it is mentioned in the Programme Statement for ITV Granada that all Childrens output including Presentation is now at Manchester. Also confirmed today was that from the 11th April CiTV will now be on from 3.30pm until 5.00pm, meaning that the Ofcom cuts will be implemented.

This is all a fast moving situation, firstly we were wondering what they would show at 3pm, then I remember reading somewhere a few weeks ago that ITV have commissioned a few 45 minute series for daytime, obviously plugging the gap, now a few weeks later and there's no odd gap to fill!

Yep I was think the same thing.
I imagine that they will use 3:30 for tots to 3:45 and then show mucha lucha, mr bean, pet alien, spongebob, etc in the 3:45 slot, then two 30 minute programmes.
Of course if Nick gain control and a CiTV/INK section is then aired on Nickelodeon, they could hold new material back.
This would also explain why they currently have no afternoon slot!
If it does happen, hopefully it won't mean that those two big nick pick winners get the job.
Anyway, going through old tapes, I may find some CiTV stuff someday, but anyway found something that always meant the start of summer for me, and the perfect student sunday morning wake up programme, and as the CBBC thread sank, I may as well post it in here...
It's Fully Booked!, the 98-99 version may I add, but still a gem, loved the graphics and theme, and it truly did mean summer!

And because I'm in a generous mood, the CiTV end titles from Autumn 1998, my favourite set of graphics!

And just incase you're wondering, the guy at the start of the clip saying 'bye' is Brin (that's all we were told), he filled in for two weeks in I think November 1998 with Dannielle when Stephen was on holiday, he wasn't actually a bad presenter!

The reason for this is to try and keep viewers tuned in. For example if somebody only watched CiTV for SpongeBob they may have no idea what else is on and if they keep advertising it may help them to keep that viewer watching.
It's not just on CiTV, it's ITV too, because a few weeks ago whenever I was watching ITV after 6 all I kept seeing were those annoying Corrie 'Killer Kathy' trailers nearly every ad break.
I'm actually suprised that CiTV haven't mentioned that new episodes of Mucha Lucha are on next week, maybe they'll do it today??
Maybe the cut won't be as bad as first thought. We were all saying that it would probably only be an hour of CiTV, and some of that time would be tots shows. But looks like we've got 1hour 15minutes (1hour 30mins if you include the tots shows) of CiTV. If you make that time arrangement with the current shows, the tots stuff would go in place of Mr. Bean and then everything else would stay as it already is. So all we're are losing is the slot for Mr.Bean, which is getting the Pet Alien treatment at the moment.
