Well, I turned off MoM at 11 at I can't stand Captain Scarlett, and I doubt I was the onlyone. presumably they did what they did so they could run everything and viewers who don't want to see CS won't miss anything.

I hate Captain Scarlett and it a shame that Mom is showing it. I wish they just give it to Citv and get rid of it in mom hours.

I also wish that they will stop repeating Pet Alien and find something else to replace it.

I think they should keep captain scarlet for a bit but if it dosen't do well then don't just stop showing it but actually sell it because it was expensive and then they can get titles.Or can't they sell shows when they've bought them?
They need to drop Pet Alien as soon as possible though.Bounty Hamster's much funnier! Maybe get rid of atomic betty,or keep it so they can get rid of ram ray, which i don't like.

And yesterday morning i wondered if MoM could have relaunched[or at least relaunched the start!] AND dragged in viewers by July.Because SMTV had been on for 18 months when everyone had started watching properly .

One of the reasons for SMTV picking up was due to the mass decline of viewers turning off Live and Kicking and turning over to see something new. After 23 years of doing the same sort of thinga albeit with different presenters probably helped but the main reason was that since No.73, ITV didn't really have a contender for the slot until SM:TV and hearsay took over. Once Ant and Dec left, people began to switch over and you probably find it's 50/50 in some quarters. I know I'm one, I can't get enough of both Dick N Dom and MoM!

Well the last in this series of Barking, and it was a great episode to end on, I found mself laughing at much of it, especially the mum who joined the neighbourhood watch.

The thing is that because this is the last in the series, next Thursday is replaced by My Parents Are Aliens, and to make matters worse they're also putting MPAA on Tuesdays replacing Drake & Josh too!

So that's 4 days of MPAA repeats, two repeats of Art Attack, 1 atomic Betty repeat, 1 Globoloco repeat, 5 Mr Bean & Spongebob repeats, 1 rugrats repeat and the only two new shows (which is shocking for March) Bernard & Girls In Love.

What the hell is happening?
Usually they don't turn to MPAA repeats until the summer, but already.

The thing is that many said that CiTV started to slip when they introduced Live programmes to the mix, but the thing was that because they were live, especially with Mad For It meant that they didn't have to wait months for them to be made, it was a live programme where anything could happen, and they were different every week.

They don't seem to have bothered to do anything this year so far.
Hopefully they've commissioned programmes and will be introducing them soon all in one.

People keep mentioning this proposed INK where Nickelodeon would take control of CiTV, and at the moment I'd love it to happen. I wouldn't like the CiTV name to go, but I bet Nick would do more with CiTV's budget than they're currently doing. Especially as they've been used to a smaller budget.

But then again even the kids channels aren't as inventive as they have previously been, there's less attempts at their own shows, like previously Nick tried out a few game shows and even attempted LOL.

I hope Eliminator hasn't gone! If it has it could be what they did to it last year.Getting rid of the great music and titles[the amercianness helped it really].And the only thing that was good last year was the new eliminator and keeping micheal.

Unless they've moved it to the summer of course. They must be able to keep eliminator whether they've got 30 quid or 300 quid.

Yeah, Barking is a good show, it was one of the only shows I watched at 4.30, the only other one I watched around then was The Giblit Boys. Apart from those two shows I'd usually flick off of CiTV at 4.30.

I don't mind seeing some repeats, shows like SpongeBob, Atomic Betty and Globo Loco are good enough to be repeated. I also think the same about MPAA, I just don't agree with them showing it this much, I honestly thought twice a week was too much, but four times a week is way too much for repeats, it would be way too much for a new series. And I don't see the point in replacing Drake & Josh, even though I don't like the show that much, it still seems stupid. I know it was shown on MoM, but they've had what 5 episodes max and already replaced it? Just can't have been getting good ratings.

I did some 'research', well very brief, and apparently there's a new series of MPAA showing on Nick UK, but judging by the way this short messgae has been written it just sounds like it means new to Nick UK. Rolling Eyes

There's apprently a new season of Atomic Betty showing on Cartoon Network UK next month, so after they've shown the first season again (I think they're about half-way through), they might show that.

SpongeBob has finished I think, so unless CiTV haven't shown one of the seasons, it seems they'll be no more new eps. Though I did hear they may be making a few specials or something.

And why are they showing the first season of Rugrats still? If they now have the rights to Rugrats surely they could move onto season 2. I mean with shows like Atomic Betty and Globo Loco, they can only show repeats because there are no new shows yet, but the Rugrats have been around for ages and there are following seasons that can be shown.
