It was a great show all round once again, though it's as though the guests are becoming less a part of the show every week.
Frankie Munez was there and only really got a brief part as part of cakey sk8. Perhaps a little sketch would be able to bring the guests in more.

And as for the time keeping, it's a shame that they couldn't have got somebody else to keep time at the end and bring the person responsible last week (if they're still there) on to get gunged within the song like old times sakes.

I've also noticed that the guests are getting less time. Last week Chris Benoit just did Cakey Skate and some wrestling moves, he hardly said anything. And as you said Frankie Munez only appeared in Cakey Skate and he also appared for a few brief seconds in the opening theme when they were doing the dance.

Maybe, with Captain scarlet starting next week they'll do some sort of spoof sketch, but whether they'd include a guest, who knows.

Shelley from corrie was having a good time though. During Name that Tone she couldn't stop laughing at Mr Lee and 'Crazy Frog' Ray!

Though she always has a good time on everything, that's why she's always a great guest on everything.

I wouldn't mind them actually having questions with guests if they made the interviews fun, whether they'd do a little game within them or go the whole hog like The Saturday Show mk 2 and set up little sketches where the questions are them brought into the scenario.

I keep looking at these Captain Scarlet trailers wondering what it will do to the MoM audience. Especially when they place them inside Drake & Josh, it could either ruin the audience, attract new viewers or change the viewership of the programme totally.

Or make no difference.

True, but one's a comedy and one's a sci fi computer animated programme. Drake & Josh could be watched by all, but some young children may not appreciate Captain Scarlet.

As of Monday the CiTV schedule is changing to more repeats than I've known before, especially well before summer.

3:15 Thomas & Friends (REPEATS Daily, 3:20 on wed) / Meg & Mog (REPEAT wed Only)

3:25 Fun Song Factory (Mon & Fri, 3:30 on wed)
Tractor Tom (Tues & Thurs)

3:35 Mr Bean (REPEATS, AGAIN, Daily, 3:40 on wed)

3:45 Spongebob (Daily, 3:50 on Wed)

4:00 (mon) Atomic Betty (REPEAT)
(tues & wed (4:05 Wed)) Art Attack (REPEATS)
(thurs) Bernard (continuing series)
(fri) Globoloco (REPEAT)

4:10 Rugrats (Thurs Only)

4:30 (mon & Wed) My Parents Are Aliens (REPEATS, YET AGAIN!)
(tues) Drake & Josh (REPEAT from MoM)
(thurs) Barking! (continuing series)
(fri) Girls In Love (Brand New Series)

So even though part of the schedule is changing, there is only one Brand New Series, the others are either Repeats or continuing series.

It's been a very strange schedule for the school year (from Sept) so far, with many new programmes being commissioned for 6 episode or being split in their runs. They commissioned 20 episodes of MPAA, and seem to have got rid of a few long running series like How 2 (How could they?) and Brilliant Creatures.

One of the reasons may be down to the expensive Captain Scarlet, and with it airing on CiTV (along with ITV1 & 2), CiTV may have had to chip in from it's budget.

It's just so confusing for the viewers how the schedule always changes.

It used to be the same schedules Sept - Dec, then it would change for Jan - Apr, and then again April - July with summer fill in's over the summer holidays.

Now though the scheduling seems to be everywhere.
And I know they don't have as much money as CBBC, and have no money from Sky and other broadcasters given to them but it just seems strange.

Unless of course they're holding all new programmes back for something.

I don't think How 2's gone, but I'm worried about the future of eliminator.
If michael's left, they can replace him and it could replace Barking! when that finishes.I've made a CiTV schedule with an extra quarter of an hour and puffin's pla[i]ce! [But i haven't got it with me at the moment so i'll make it up as i go along now]Here's the monday:
3.15 Double Thomas the tank and Double Meg and Mog
3.35 Tiny planets
3.40 Original Rugrats
4.00 Puffin's Pla[i]ce
4.10 How 2
4.30 WhatUWant [New show that's basically points of view, but for CiTV and actually trying to sort out the problem!]
4.45-5.15 The Quick Trick Show[relaunched after a few quiet years of repeats! What happened to it anyway?Did it end when stephen mad himself look 11?]

Just found out that it was Miss Willoughby's birthday on Thursday, happy birthday Holly!. Wonder if M.O.M will do anything tomorrow as her birthday is today?.

MOM got off to a good start today - pacey and funny. Now there are just two presenters, what will happen when either Stephen or Holly have a holiday?

And has anyone heard what Michael Underwood is doing now since he got the boot?

Haven't heard anything about Michael.
They'll most probably get some other presenters to come in, hopefully it'll be presenters, like the Saturday Show did back in 2003 using Sara to fill in for Fearne instead of getting some random popstar in to fill in.

If it's like last year though non of them seemed to have massive holidays. Stephen had a week off when he went to have his appendix removed, and then had a week later in the year. Holly had a few weeks when she filled in for Cat on cd:uk, though I think she only had one perhaps two weeks proper holiday, and Michael only had one week towards the end of the year.

Yesturdays show was good. I'm not much for these rushed beginnings though. As everyone knows I'm not a fan of the lack of titles, but now it doesn't seem to have just started before we're into Pet Alien. I'm sure that Dick & Dom didn't have a programme on until after MoM played out Pet Alien.

Thought yesterday's show was another good one, particularly as a lot went wrong, with unplanned cockups (such as the paper door in Ram Ray falling off and Crazy Frog Ray banging his head) as well as the scripted gags (such as Mr Lee crawling in and out in shot)

Stephen's facial expressions are always the best, such as when Lee from Blue's mum was telling that long winded story! Lee was another good guest although he got into Cakey Sk8 just a bit too much!

The crew seemed to be building their part this week with them calling out all the time!
I'd say the show is the strongest these last few weeks as its been since it started. Name that Tone was definally a good idea and I don't know about you but the game isn't really getting boring, as its slightly different every week
