Indeed, did they have someone on work experience watching the clock this morning!. I can't believe nobody in the gallery realised they were running over!

Yes, and surely ITV would have told them as well? Very strange...

Lol!

A great show again today!
Chris Benoit was a great guest and Caprice's scream was piercing!
Strange that they overan, surely they'd have ended Name That Tone early with just 3 tones and then go straight over. Or they could have missed out the next week menu, though even if they didn't it was wierd how they then went into the dance.
It was as though nobody was watching the time!

As for other bits of the show, I loved the doctors wig, and loving how Mr Lee's role gets bigger every week, even with his own tone, crazy but great.

With all of these hidden camera things, it's beadle's about, though i do like them, I hope they don't overdo them.

Yeah todays show was great, it's now more interactive with the seating area and a phone in competition added in Atomic Betty, plus the 'what happened next?' segments used before the break is a good way to help keep a viewer watching, that might not usually watch the entire show, plus they were funny. The Doc wasn't as funny as he has been in the past two weeks, still funny though. And, as you said, Mr. Lee's role is getting bigger and funnier. I was a bit disapointed that we didn't see much of Benoit, he hardly even spoke, but still a great show.

LoveTV!!
Just been looking at some of my old tapes that Ive had stored away and was surprsed by how many shows I had taped from the 2001-2002 era.
Here is what I had found:
2 full tapes (SP) of Sabrina (the college series) in 4:3 (before they cropped!)
1 full tape (LP) of cropped Sabrina (the final series) when it was on MOM with an old segment from the Doctor (in his original lab)
1 full tape (SP) of The quick Trich show (series 2)
1 full tape (LP) of Black Hole Hight series 2 and some footage of the closing link with Andy and Laura
1 full tape (SP)of the CiTV birthday bash (with Michael and Leah) and Tim being introduced. Then I have like 10 beginnings of the 2001 and then 2002 opening titles of CiTV.
I also found 2 older opening beginnings from MOM (with them running out of the metal door thing and the near full song) with the gunge tank at the end. Plus, on another tape I have a newer opening begining with Stephen, Holly and Michael singing on the bed (which was only used for one episode).

Sorry, I know none of you probably care, just thought I'd share them with you, lol.

The metal door opening of M.O.M was the week before the re-launch.

What's this metal door? Is it the lift that they used from the start last January where the door became the ramp and then they stopped using it?

It was a door that was stuck in place where security doors were (the doors were open) Stephen, Micheal and Holly poped up one by one and said hello and bursed through the door after the logo span off the screen.

Speaking of old M.O.M's I watched a few from june/july 04 that i've got and i didnt see anything wrong with the set, titles and presentation. I've got a load of full episodes from march to present.

There was one lab sequence from euro 2004 when the doctor was doing the experiment with the tennis balls and footballs and he opened up with the line: " Now kids listen up because this is the part that your mother and father pay the TV licence for, because this week im going to be talking more balls than usual!" You could hear what the crew was thinking! lol

I'll take some caps of the old set when i get my DVD recorder.

If you are getting a capture card though, could you try and get the video player in there please? I can't persuade my mum to get the video in mine!

Another great show today, only bad thing about it was Drake & Josh which was more predictable and clichéd than usual, but next week it's being replaced by Captain Scarlet. They showed us a sneak preview of it and it has been made with computors instead of puppets, like the original, obviously so it can appeal more to a new generation of viewers.

The new graphics for announcements during the show (such as when they give a breif description of what's coming up during Pet Alien, or a reminder of the competition during Atomic Betty) look pretty good.

Another great funny show, and they managed to finish on time this week too! Laughing
