On tommorow's Ministry..erm.. M.O.M., the Noise Next Door are on, again, (be thankful its not the Cheeky Girls), this might mean they might perform the theme tune. Alternatively they might not. More likely they will perform their new single and then take part in Double Trouble no doubt.
Also there will be the usual fun and games with Ram Ray, Race Ray, The Doctor, UFO etc and of course Atomic Betty, Pet Alien and Drake and Josh. That's all tommorow at 9.25.

I also predict they will start with short titles, have a rushed song at the end, there will be Thank You Desk and the cycle of this thread will continue....

In CITV news, yes I noticed today that Scott Chisholm is one of The Giblet Boys. Also Drake and Josh replaces Help! I'm a Teenage Outlaw on Tuesday at 4.30 in a change to the advertised schedule. Seems strange as surely they knew whether or not it was popular or not during the first half of the run. Remember if you get withdrawal symptoms you can listen to the theme tune at your leisure at teenageoutlaw.co.uk!

I noticed that about Drake & Josh. The great thing on CiTV's behalf is that it was created with many, and I think there are 6 other companies, so they didn't have to pay as much for it as they do with other series.

I wonder why it hasn't proved popular though, perhaps it's the history angle to it, perhaps the viewers don't like it after school, but then look at Maid Marian and her merry men, oh who knows!

As for MoM, I don't like this slating that much as it's compared to what it has been it's quite good at the moment. Granted though the lack of titles is an annoyance, I wouldn't mind seeing the original titles back either Love TV, but I doubt they would. I couldn't actually see anything wrong content and presentation wise back in July.

The current set is ok, it's not as big and spacious as the old one mainly due to the metal door and tiered seating, but it looks good.

I wouldn't say that they've been sitting down a lot lately, many of the items seem to jump on top of one another, like last week they had the lab, the item with the jump people (over the sofa), race ray and then cakey sk8 straight after. Plus they had ram ray before that, and name that tone etc after.

It could be more mad, even if things weren't how they should be, or something random happened, I get what you mean on this front and the scripted ness, though once again compared to the past I wouldn't say that it was that bad!

Out of all of the points though I'd say that titles are a priority, and perhaps a sketch, I'd love one related to a programme though like they did with the all grown up sketch, don't know whether they can do one though!
Thinking about the thank you desk, isn't it just a way to get offer thanking the guests, adding crew names in instead of titles and not being a copy like the gunging sort of was (in relation to the toilet gunging at the end of Dick & Dom).
Maybe one way around it would be to combine so that they have to thank the guests inbetween the two choruses.

It's slowly getting better though, they seem to be cramming it too.
We'll just have to see how tomorrow's goes.

Please don't tell me that today's MOM ending marks a new way to finish the show.

The Noise Next Door (or Busted with red hair) performed their song and they dropped the signature tune.

This isn't CDUK!

Somehow we need to get this message to the producers!

Well in today's packed show there wasn't really anywhere else they could put it, I almost thought they'd dropped The Lab until it appeared almost at the end.
Notice they've converted The Lab MkII into a sit down area and built a new Lab MkIII at the back.
Good show today, lots of funny bits, Ram Ray, Mr Lee, Crazy Frog, Stephen jumping out on Holly, The Doc....
Jennifer Ellison was a good guest as well, getting well into the spirit of the show.

Personally I would rather they used the space above the Doc's lab as the sit down area or move the Doc's lab to above where it is now, and use the whole of the bottom as a sit-down area. The lab just seemed too small today in my opinion.

Still it's good that they've finally got a replacement to the 'Post Room'.

Is nothing sacred?

I noticed on yesterday's showing of Thomas the Tank Engine on CITV, that the end credits were squashed to the side for a CITV trailer, and Thomas's theme tune was muted.

Even last year they left the Thomas end credits alone and had the theme tune (which must be 20 years old, hasn't changed and still puts a smile on my face) without interruption.

I didn't see the first 10 minutes of this morning's M.O.M so I don't know what happened re this thread's favourite subject right at the start.

I can't work out this Mr Lee character, is he supposed to be for real or is it all an act!.
Also I wish Ray would do the Crazy Frog in full again!.
After months of hardly doing anything (remember the first 6 months, Ray's part consisted of what exactly? not much?) Ray is now a bigger part of the show that the Doc!

I'm not a big fan of Ram Ray,i think Swing Ray and Race Ray were better. And Swing Ray only lasted about 4 saturdays!

Nothing changed at the start, graphics into menu into tiny music. Though everything else did. The reason why I keep talking about it is because it doesn't feel right.

I noticed on todays show that every item now has their own graphics and little opening ditti, yet the graphics are placed onto the live shot, again I don't know why.

Interesting set changes today too. The main monitors had little items scattered around which make it nicer to look at, and make it more homely. The new seating area was wierd at first, especially as like the post room it takes the audience away from everything, as the lab does even further round. Though I suppose Live & Kicking used to do that under their balconey.

Once again it flowed well today.
They've certainly packed it with features now.

As for Mr Lee I'm not sure either. I don't mind though he's great entertainment either way, and someone who could become a great character in the future. The way they've brought him in is interesting, as they didn't need anybody to bring in ringtones but it's nice to do so.

In the past Ray was mainly to take the mick out of. It's nice that now he is the centre of many games, and can also hold his own and fire back at people.

Great show, just a few improvements would make it better. And I don't like the performance at the end either, especially when there's only a short dance at the start.

The character may be an excuse for the rather catchy but irritating tune by the 5,6,7,8s just in case any one is curious to the characters' creation.

It is a good tune though! Even though it's only 3 weeks he's already starting to build up his part!
