CiTV's getting into the Christmas Spirit this week, even with the annual event of messages from presenters, they seem to be sticking with CiTV faces this year, previous years it seemed to be compulsary to have many prime time stars such as Chris Tarrant, Cilla and Mathew Kelly to name a few.

Plus we finally know that the voice's name is Tim, after a phone call to Santa after today's MPAA, I wonder what he would be like presenting in vision.

Indeed and the voice playing Santa sounded like Swag(taclaus).
I can't work out which bits he does live and which is recorded. Is the 'My Prizes are Amazing' silly voice the same bloke?

I think it is yes. He seems to add many strange voices. I'm not sure that much, if any is pre recorded. I like it live for moments of unexpected ness like last week when they had the starting still shot of 5 trailers and before Atomic Betty.
Though he just said that they were sorry for the amount of trailers, it's nothing that CiTV can't handle and that Atomic Betty would follow shortly.
Where as if they'd have had emails and texts, etc he could have read a couple or ablibbed more. Id still prefer in vision though!
Though remember that Kirsten O Brien had to fill for 20 minutes or so when Popeye wouldn't play, that's professionalism.

CiTV should pick up a few more people today with no CBBC.
Is it just me or is it odd for CBBC to finish a week before Christmas, I'm sure it used to be Christmas Eve before they went to just mornings for the week.

Yes you are right, they usually go up to the 23rd. If it was a short week they might get away with it, but with 4 days to Christmas Eve I'm not sure what they are playing at

Perhaps they think that more people will be off work, I don't finish until 7pm Christmas Eve, but others may finish early, I don't know.
I've also noticed that the Blue Peter Christmas Programme isn't on Christmas Eve! Is this the first year of this or did they do it on the 23rd last year?

Well, it would have beens eeing as SM:TV was still in production (thoughaxed) when it was made. i won't be suprised to find the repeat is to try and keep SM:TV engrained on everyone's mind.

Michael is leaving SM:TV, according to a thread on Digital Spy.
I wish MOM would burn in hell, I hate the program so much, and ITV is reporting alot of ratings gone down on Kids programmes. Evil or Very Mad

I wonder how he's managing that, seeing as he was never on it in the first place and it's been off air nearly a year!

Although MOM consistently out performs Dick and Dom on BBC One, but it doesn't have the domination in terms of audience share of SM:TV. CD:UK out performs TOTP Saturday as well.

Not suprising really. TOTP Saturday is a píss-poor kiddies show, CD:UK is and always has, been aimed at older viewers. In fact SM:TV was really, though MOM decided to try for older viewers after they realised their original format wasn't working they don't seem to have done such a good job. Still better than the crap calling itself Dick & Dom

When producing a Saturday morning show for young teenagers, there is always the inherent problem that many people within that age group tend to sleep through the mornings at weekends...

LoveTV!!
I've been looking at the listings for the 4th January and it says that 'The Rugrats' are on CiTV at 3:35pm.
Is this a mistake or have CiTV actually bought the rights from CBBC?
I would be pleased to see it on CiTV as they have All Grown up aswell so maybe they could show Rugrats followed by AGU.

EDIT: It also says that Trading Treasures is on at 2:30 so Its obviously a mistake with Radiotimes.

It looks perfectly plausable to me, as the description actually says what episode it is, so it can't be wrong.
Not quite sure what Trading Treasures at 2.30pm has got to do with anything
