I guess I have to say it, but where's the Xmas decs on MoM? There doesn't seem to be anything apart from a few stars anging down from the celing. MoM just aren't putting any effort into anything any more.

Edit: Looks like the tree's just appeared. But still, SM:TV made much more efforttowards Xmas.

Well it was Michaels' last week on the Ministry of Mayhem.

Quite interesting watching the Christmas 'Race Ray' with the dogs. I'm guessing that bit was pre-recorded, else Ray made a very quick exit taking off the clogs and putting a coat on. I think there was a subtle-ish bit on inuendo from the Doc this week, in reference to the fireman's pole.

I'll comment on MOM later on but all I can say now is:

We will miss you Michael Crying or Very sad . He could have stayed for the Xmas show Sad .

He said it would be Bigger and Better next year, so a new look after Christmas?

What a shocker, Michael seems to be making a habit of leaving his job just before Christmas

I'm sure he said the same thing when he left CITV last year.

Pitty he couldn't stay on for the Xmas show, considering its probably a pre-record some time this week.

They may be saving the main xmas decs for next week's Christmas Day edition, to make it extra special

Noticed CD:UK were being original this week by opening with last year's performance from The Darkness (annoying cropped to 16:9- losing Justin's head in some shots. We can argue whether this is a good thing or not). That's one of the performances I harvested a couple of weeks back when I went through the last 3 SM:TVs for Xmas related clips for something I'm working on. I'm taping today's CD:UK for the same reason.

Looks like Avid Merrion is on again as well, he was a riot last year when he did the Hotshots review. He can't do an interview seriously as Avid (totally different when he was himself on Frank Skinner last week though).

The Clip of Sophie and Brian on the next week menu trail for M.O.M looked like it was done in the studio. It was a bit of a suprise that Michael was leaving M.O.M this week, unless its been discussed a few pages back. But at least they sent him off properly, on most shows presenters just leave with out saying anything! (Bid-up.tv)

Good luck in the future Michael!.

I always felt SM:TV gave their presenters better sendoffs, as they had a whole show dedicated to it. Michael was just a quick montage at the end. I wasn't even aware Michael was leaving until that point.

I think CiTV has been a load of RUBBISH since about 1998, when they got the 'people' presenters. For one thing the cartoon presenters were 10 times better, and for another, all the GOOD programmes disapeared! Like SPOOKS OF BOTTLE BAY and WIZADORA and THE RIDDLERS. (I have a petition at www.petitiononline.com/citv if anyones interested)
