Perhaps so, but SM:tv never has tiered seating. It just looks so cramped up in there, which is why i thought that they may be in a smaller studio as the last set looked so big in comparison.

They could do with a mix between the two sets, well mainly taking the lab into a the old set would be perfect.

I don't suppose you could upload a beginning of an old MOM episode could you please fanoftv?
I would like to see what they did back then when it cut from the titles to the studio (and just to see really).

Fanoftv,can you do a list of all the MoM's you've got?
This is mine:
2nd-5th show [17 Jan- 7 Feb]
11th show [20th March]
31st July [2nd week of relaunch]
and this saturdays show.
But i have got a few bits aswell.

I thought they could do that if Des and Leah come on there!
Maybe they could have the old set's background with those new round square things and stuff like that [if you know what i mean],
but adding new bits like a slide to replace the old stairs.

How strange, what I typed what that I have no equipment to capture at this moment, which is a problem!

M.O.M Could of kept the old set and introduced the new one as "The basement" not to be rude but it does look like one a bit!.

That's a very clever idea, but it would mean either hiring a bigger studio (that they could do with the new 12,000 sq ft studio at Maidstone, though it most probably cost's a bit more.

It would make sense to have a set that reflected the website with a number of floors, where they can do different things, abit like how Dick & Dom use their set.

The thing is though that they could manage by using a single set.
The problem with the current isn't in the appearence of the set, just the actual designing.
The key to a good design is to maximise the space, where as they've seemed to have added the seating, that big door next to the seating that most probably has nothing behind it, the stage in the corner, the lab and the sofas which means that their is little space to do anything else.

They could easily resurect the current set By removing the tiered seating and door, have a balconey going around set, with the stairs on either side to the right of the lab, and coming down where the stage is currently.
Then, have a permanent sofa (preferably the old moving one), fixed in on a higher platform under the balconey, and have an entrance (the silver door perhaps) to the lef, in the centre.

Get all of the old walls back in, so that it looks like the Ministry building.

Also, how about on the left of the studio, the Ministry wall is there, but for performances, a big chunk of the wall drops down to the ground with lights and set like the current stage area, so that the stage is folded away at the end of performances to maximise the room.

Technically with the walls in it would look like the old set with bits of the new. Personally I'd have the old walls, and loads of new rooms, and balconeys, and a big raised part of the studio, that's the main floor, but doubles as the stage.
