They would never bother doing that, especially considering that they're thinking about putting the contract for CiTV out to Nickelodeon (or have they done that already?)

There was a new break bumper today by the way.

If they have, there's been no press attention about it. Though it will most probably happen in a rush like today's Plus becoming ITV3 decision.

Perhaps they're having second thoughts. As I've said many times before, they should extend CiTV to ITV2 5-7pm and test the audience to see the amount of viewers that they can muster. As long as it's live, promoted well on CiTV1, and has a studio disney formula it may work, and they may find that a channel may also work rather than just throwing the idea through the window and giving CiTV to somebody else.

I noticed the breakbumper tvguy.
Basically for those that didn't see it, it's the old Breakflash (which for those that couldn't see that were 3 CiTV logos (like the dog) in red, blue & yellow that flashed on one after another), that's been slowed down and has an extra white logo on the end.

I'm surprised that they didn't change the start up, even if it was just to edit it to change the ITV1 logo. I presume that they will do it over time, nothing ever changes instantly with ITV.

I was about to say that CiTV seem to be spending more money on their website than they are on the presentation side of things.

And then I clicked on "Get It" and saw downloadable signed pics for Andy and Swag and downloadable wallpaper for Bernard's Watch - three things that haven't been on CiTV for a while. So that blew that argument out the window then.

The website is very well created, a bit cramped at some points, and it's a shame that the pinboards have gone, but very well maintained.

As for CiTV on air, I noticed today that they've dropped the old ITV1 off the ident, infact they'd dropped the start up ident and started with an Engie Bengy animation. Well I presume that this was the case as it appeared on ITV1 Central where CiTV is made.

Also on a CiTV related note a CiTV advert has been aired on Nickelodeon and Fox Kids from what I've seen. It basically shows all of the new shows that are only on CiTV, like Barking, Help! I'm a Teenage Outlaw, My Parents Are Aliens, and Play The Game (that starts tomorrow, made by the Producers of CBBC's Smile, it involves viewers playing the game, you can play online, and is presented by former X Change presenters Steve Wilson and Sarra Elgan, who worked well together on XChange and it will be great to see them working together again).

The advert is a nice mix, but doesn't show programmes like Art Attack (that they've dumped out the main schedule, why can't All Grown Up just be on a wednesday???) and Finger Tips. It's clever to use other children's channels to promote it. It ends with a few things around the CiTV logo kind of like the start up from last year, its a shame that they haven't made more of these.

So what's clever about it? You've never seen Nickelodeon advertising during CiTV breaks then? It was only a matter of time before CiTV would start advertising on the networks that are poaching their audience, ironically enough.

Anyway expect to see more of this cross channel advertising stuff as we progress towards the digital era and the fights steps up for every viewer going. I wouldn't be surprised if everybody starts advertising their programmes on everybody else's channels.

Yes I've seen Nick and Disney advertise within CiTV, though with CiTV's cost cutting at the moment, I wouldn't have expected them to launch an advert, though they did have the one for the Ministry of Mayhem, which was the worst one, especially compared to the "we've got to spread the word" one's.

The new CiTV one is different with all of the presenters and characters having rolling eyes and heads the cut off at the mouth, think Ike (spelling) in South Park.

Dissapointed to see a "Ministry" version of All Grown Up on Wednesday, (by ministry i mean the same version as showen on MoM with shortened opening titles and no end credits)

Why have CiTV cut off 30 seconds of the opening theme leaving the last 2 lines of the theme and why have they cut the ending titles?. Does anyone have the opening and closing credits of All Grown Up in full?.

It's very strange that they're doing this, especially when it's billed with a 30 minute slot and they have no reason to save time for invision presentation or anything.

Also as I pointed out within the ITV 1 & 2 new look thread, CiTV bought back their start up trailer with the new ITV cloud ident added at the start of it. It was the old blow up one so it must have been edited.

I noticed on the doctors "book" on MoM last week was not a real book, if you press slow play and pause when the camera zooms in to his picture on the back you can see random words like "AFTGB HJUGH SJAHN" on the back!. lol
