I seem to recall I praised last week's MoM as a very good show as well, can't remember why now, I'll have to look back in the thread!
On to this week's, another decent one. Charlotte Francis from My Parents are Aliens was a good guest getting into the fun of it all and playing Cakey Sk8. I'm surprised that the Doctor's section didn't pick up on the fact that Charlotte plays a geeky science type on Aliens could have been a bit of a side issue.
The only bit that really is annoying is that near identical The Wizard sketch every week. There was no Race Ray this week, maybe it just didn't work. That guess who is Blue's sibling returned to looks now to be a regular fixture
Oh and absolutely no mention of the Noise Next Door. I'm going for Top 10, if they're lucky!
I haven't seen the former but I quite like the latter, I think it has a bit of a Maid Marion type feel to it. Also if CITV had presenters that theme tune is crying out for kids to ring in and sing along in an annoying fashion.
I think CITV really need another returning comedy/drama alongside Aliens that is a success because all last year's stuff seems to not have been commissioned again, so every year is trying out new formats in the genre.

Holiday over, back into the saddle.
I know it's a week ago, but a great MoM! I can't be bothered to go into details of why, but it was a good show,

And may I add that even though I thought that 'Barking!' would be rubbish, I actually liked it! Good acting, wierd puppet, but it works, and it's a nice bit of comedy! Not such a fan of Help, I'm a Teenage Outlaw though.

Easy solution to prop up viewing figures if Saturday night is anything to go by:
Ant & Dec. Or little Ant & Dec (pending how cutesy you want to make it). Just get them to interview Westlife, Blue or anybody else of that calibre day in, day out and there's your figures through the roof on the back of "omg little dec is far 2 cute he my fav little ant is ok 2 ne1 agree plz writ bac plz repy 2 diz little dec if u c this i will keep it 4ever" type discussions. I can't do text speak properly (thank God) but you get the idea.

Lol I think you need a lie down, you've been watching too many txt music channels on Sky or reading the wrong message boards!
Little Ant and Dec should maybe appear on MoM they could rotate with 'Drake and Josh' (can't remember what the two little boys are really called) every other week
Anyway on a similar note CITV should have snapped up Sam and Mark. I always thought they should become TV presenters from their banter on Pop Idol Extra but I wouldn't have put them neither on the other side or hosting the inferior TOTP Saturday. Then you'd get the txt style comments from girl's tuning in!

BIG DIFFERENCE.Dick&Dom's alright but i prefer TSS.
Anyway, how come no-one mentioned Art attack's new look in this thread?I hate the persil sponsor and i don't like the way the paint makes the paintings in the titles. But,the paint splodges are alright and the 4 Part attacks are good, quite like them.

It's been like that since September, I'm sure I mentioned it.
The titles are a refresh, and I love the music, plus the way that they've moved the show forward by trying to make things a bit quicker like the big art attack with modern music and the 4 part attack, it's just very strange that they've taken the programme out of the afternoons and put it on Sunday Mornings only, all so that they can show All Grown Up twice a week.
There's been something serverly wrong with CiTV since September, the amount of short series, the complete mess of their schedule every week, and the lack of presenters and interactivity.
The Ministry was good again, but with that guess the relative feature being featured once again, perhaps it's going to get stuck in a rut.
They just need to invent simple sketches as one offs, perhaps little songs, create little games perhaps based upon the guests, and make it livelier and more exciting.
I thought they'd have done more things for halloween, even Paul O Grady went mad for Halloween with the set decoration, dressing up, and everything.
They could have all dressed up, created games, decorated the set, added sound effects to the music, darkened the studio, maybe even have bought back the titles, made the sky dark, and add lightning and bats flying. Lets hope they add some effort for christmas!
