I've only heard a minute of it on the Noise next door's website. I was looking forward to the 20th sept when Michael said it was out but we'll get to hear the full version on saturday!.
Also when the doctor and that guy from MPAA were shouting "UFO" to eachother, was i supposed to think they were saying something else?
if you dont get what i mean look at the words "UFO" very carefully and put the words together!.

The Ministry Of Mayhem single that's out is actually quite weird listening too - got to hear it the other day.
It's an extended version of the title music with a few more lyrics involving the shows cast, even mentioning the twins at one point, along with Ray too.
It has the standard lyrics then the chorus, more lyrics, chorus, more lyrics and chorus before it ends kind of like it does on the show with na na naaa.... it's the ministry of mayhem.
Think of it as extended title tune with no audience really.

I do have Sky but I don't have those titles and my card software isn't working at all now which kind of makes capturing hard.

Interesting article about childrens itv in the media guardian, and as Steve Hewitt points out it is very silly of ITV.
ITV is now one entity, so programmes should be commissioned to them so that they hold the rights and then can sell merchandise based on shows to make good revenue for ITV and CiTV that can be put back into the shows, and may even make enough money for a channel, even if it's just one that show Tot's programmes through the day (when kids are at school), and then older children's programmes in the afternoon and early evening.
Look at today's schedule for merchandising.
Miffy & Friends - already have the books, ITV could get a percentage from new books, toys and all other merchandising that they help to create.
Fun Song Factory - follow the Hi5 route and release CD's, DVD's, Videos and maybe even Karaoke things.
Mr Bean (if new episodes are commissioned, as it's popular) - toys, dvd's, videos, etc could be produced to gain revenue.
Grizzly Tales for Grusome Kids - A series of stories could be released in books, maybe even a board game released about the tales.
Jungle Run - Quite obviously a board game (a bit like the crystal maze board game), maybe even a computer game (though perhaps that's a bit too much).
My Parents Are Aliens - a big success for CiTV, and very popular and long running, they could produce a computer game based on it, or a series of toys just based on the cartoons on the titles!
It isn't that hard to come up with the ideas, along with releasing almost every show onto DVD's and Videos, they could make a massive profit to plough back into production and into CiTV.
So no need to go and give CiTV over to a rival, they just need to look further than simply advert revenue, even though better programmes and an increase in interactivity would draw more viewers, so more viewers, more ad revenue!
All they need to do is to create a big part of the company, whether it be based at Birmingham, London or wherever the whole commissioning process should take place with the production of the afternoon slot.
They should look at producing more content, perhaps with CiTV becoming the children's production brand instead of Granada.

I've just been looking at one of my old tapes, I was actually looking for some Weather Channel pres but it was actually a 3 hour tape containing Nick (and Paramount with the original ident) presentation from around 1996. The good old days in my opinion! (I don't have capture facilities by the way but the contents of this tape will go on the net some time before the end of the decade!).
Anyway there was a trailer for CBBC on Nick on there, or as it was back then 'Children's BBC' using the old fancy "Children's" logo from back then. No footage from the actual strand I'm afraid as I would have been at school. The rest of the tape is the likes of Sarah Cawood, Rick Adams, Mounya and Yolanda and Nigel Mitchell and all the idents and trailers that surrounded them. Anyone else of a certain age and remember this era?

I remember CBBC on Nick now. When I used to catch it, it was on from 9-10 am and 2:30-3:30pm, wrapping around Nick Jr.
It used to have Otis the Aardvark presenting, in between what would now be regarded as cbeebies shows. the idents that were used were some adapted Yellow ones, but they were only on at the start and end of the show. The DOG also changed to say "CBBC on Nickelodeon"

I didn't unfortunately, but it sounds like great days as all of those presenters (bar Mounya who I haven't heard of and Yolanda who is still there) have gone on to bigger and better things.
What were the graphics, idents and trailers like back then?

You've never heard of Mounya and Yolanda? They're sisters, "Mou & Yoo" was their collective handle. Although you often saw them apart as well as presenting together.
