I don't want MoM January-June because i like christmas titles!
Unless it was November &Decemeber aswell[Nov-Jun!].
But if it was 6 months each they could have MoM jan-mar&oct-dec and have smtv back or a new show apr-oct.
What does everyone think MoM'll do for christmas anyway?
If they have full titles for november then that'll be just in time to convert them to christmas titles!
Maybe SM:TV could be a summer filler like The Saturday Show. Whatever, I do think the format sould be bought back somehow, but as a Saturday show is unlikely. If not as a Saturday show, I do think the School/Bank Holiday one is a good idea. It could fill a gap where's there's not usually much on, usually CBBC & CITV just run normal programmes- Something like SM:TV could be ideal here (It certinally fitted in well when it was shown on a Bank Holiday in June 2002). If ITV weren't running football, I'd say they could run it as a Sunday show- that slot has never been filled properly since The Disney Club ended in 1998.
They do seem like good ideas to fill presently unfilled slots and bring back SM:TV without killing off Ministry of Mayhem.
I know I'm not the only person who wants it back, I know quite a few people who do! the show was hugelypopular, and quite a lot of people I know seem to think MoM is poor in comparion. However unlikely, a comeback would certinally be welcomed. I personally wonder how many people in ITV have this view! I'm sure there must be some.

I was a fan of SM:tv but stopped watching after Ant, Dec and Cat left, however i tuned into SM:tv gold for the classic Ant and Dec bits. I didnt watch MoM properly from the start (well only 8 shows in) and i wasnt sure about it at first but i watched MoM for another few weeks and it seemed alright like it still is.
TV Guy: I doubt we'll get Christmas titles for MoM or even a christmas theme because they no longer have titles. I thought the "No-Titles" was because the saturday show had no-titles and they was competing against it?, Now its gone for the winter surley they could come up with a new set of titles or stick the old titles back with the updated logo and use the full theme?.
Or as i mentioned a few pages back MoM chould do what "Ellen" did on the third series and keep coming up with excuses for not having opening titles ready or something, or they could ask the guests each week funny questions or have the guests do funny things while the MoM theme is playing in the background.
These petitions never work though. Most people never hear of them, and even if they do, they are generally disregarded. The only thing that will bring back SM:TV are the ITV execs realising that the show is still wanted by the viewers and that MoM still isn't cutting it. That does seem to be how a lot of people feel 9 months down the line. MoM has been given a 2nd year, we'll have to see what happens after that.
There is also the possiblity of what was said above which ITV could consider- a school holiday show (though probabally wouldn't be called SM:TV) where it would fit in well with the presently bland holiday line-ups. I doubt there are any plans for a show like this though
I think I would prefer CiTV to be handed to an independant producer rather than a rival children's company.
Blaze would be a good idea, and it would be called... CiTV!!!
Why change something 22 years old? No one does that in their own life when they reach 22!
A summer idea may work, but it couldn't be called SM:tv, it'd have to be a new idea for a show submitted to ITV. They'd never go back and recommission SM:tv after axing it, but they may commission a similar idea.
The best way to go is for a summer fill in following the BBC's Sept - April (as September is the start of the autumn season up to Easter), then April - start of September for a fill in.
It would be a nice idea. Or how about a Sunday Morning programme?
CBBC do it on BBC Two, and Dick & Dom have their show on a Sunday, if ITV commissioned it, there would be no problem to have one, or maybe one for ITV2, that would get rid of one Emmerdale Omnibus!
There's no reason why the ministry can't go back to their original titles, there's nothing wrong with them, and I don't know why they dumped them in the first place!
Though again, I don't understand why they got rid of their set that looked massive in comparison.
I suspect that they will do something for christmas, in the way of adding sleigh bells to the music. Though with a title tune featuring lyrics, it's a shame that they can't change them to the standard of Dick & Dom.
