OK. Right. I quite like the idea of a CiTV Gold week, perhaps one where viewers could pick which classic programmes they want to see, and if this proves popular they may introduce some into the CiTV schedule, or maybe in a CiTV2 (which could - with advertising - boost it's current audience levels for that slot).
As for the rest of your post, which I'm sure I've seen before!
They could use a studio now if they wanted to, they've got a spare one until Central News East move to Birmingham, well half a one.
Andy and Laura are most probably gone now, and they may have thrown Swag away, all because of Charles Allen. Though it has been a year of bad decisions, a bad set when they had a great shell of a set, a bad choice of line for presentation when they had a strong set with the bouncing letters, and a bad choice of getting two new/newish presenters in with no experienced ones to guide them.
Plus who is Dave to present with Laura?
Going back to my idea, I grabbed this image and tried to do something paint, hopefully you can get the idea of adding a CiTV desk and the old inflatibles into the studio.

Here's my idea for christmas and new year:
27-31 Dec 2004:Classics Week 11.00-1.00 each day in computer generated studio
Then 3 January with a brand new set wherever they've moved to with the voiceover bloke joining Andy&Laura and Swag as a proper presenter instead of bag the swag.
And 2nd January they could have Dave&Laura in the computer generated studio.
It should be at least a year but you never know!
