And it's the 1st anniversary of the white set&graphics today!

and the set didn't even last a full year, funny that as I never thought it would.

The safari-based series with Richard McCourt was, unsurprisingly, called 'On Safari.

The last ep of Sabrina finally aired today- nearly a year after the series started on good old SM:TV!

Did they show the episode in full? I've never seen Nick's broadcasts of the final series as i dont have access to Nickelodeon.

Just watched todays M.O.M over again, they seemed to of moved everything around in the schedule this morning. I dont recall seeing the lab session (not including the part before All growen up) Buthaven was good this week, looks like they took my advice a few pages back and gave buthaven opening titles!.

Also noticed that Holly hasnt been in the gunge tank for a while is there a reason for it? im sure she's due for another gunging soon!.

over all 9/10!

Todays episode they did but for most of the others they cut the end scene off which was REALLY annoying because they broadcasted the rest of it execpt of a few mins at the end. They also cut off the credits, but thats nothing new as CiTV squash theres anyway, I really like the credit music to Sabrina though.

Have they axed the Doctors seqment as I didn't reacall seeing any of it, i really really hope they haven't as he DEFINATLY makes the show, maybe he has got in trouble with OFCOM, hope not!

It wasn't just the Doctors lab that was missing, I noticed that 'Club Dad' was aswell, it was strange as Stephen said last week that it would be, have they axed that aswell?

Bit of a weird show today, i'll give it a 7/10

Thanx,

I thought they would of showen the end credits to last episode of Sabrina. Not too sure about the new show next week, i was kinda hoping for something like My parents are aliens to replace sabrina or at least a different show like "Saved by the Bell" unless channel 4 still have the rights to it, thought its not been seen for ages since the days of The Bigger Breakfast!.

A couple of questions i want to get off my mind regarding MoM:

First one: Can soneone tell me whether they did a double gunging at the end of MoM on the 21st Feburary 2004?. I know the Popstar Rejects got a gunging but other gunge websites have been saying it was Roxanne Cooper who got a gunging on that date , though i deffently remember seeing 2 gunge tanks being used at the end of that show!.

and the last one: Can someone tell me where i can find the music thats used at the beginning of buthaven thats used behind the re-cap?.

Thanks

Just seen a advert for MOM on Nick, my sister said it was on this morning too, it has loads of clips and then says MOM Saturdays on CiTV etc.

Interesting. Though it's a good idea to advertise on other channels, especially with the return of Dick & Dom, they should buck up their ideas and make the show something special each week that you can't get anywhere else.

Noticed something strange about the MoM single, Michael said it was out on the 20th of September and i've checked the big record department stores websites like HMV, Virgin records and there's no sign of the single on pre-orders pages for the 20th Sept.

According to the band's website it's not out until October 24th. I assume that's their website anyway.

Interesting. They also said that the band would be performing on the show before it's release, are they lined up for next week's show?

Back to the advert, whilst watching Sabrina I've seen it. It's very wierd in the fact that it's nothing that's appeared on CiTV before.
They're trying to get across that MoM is the word on the streets, so it appears as replacements for other signs such as Taxi on the cabs and replaces the 'wait' on pelican crossings.

It ends with them on a billboard will the CiTV logo to the left, this would have been a great idea to use for CiTV press, and would have sort of been a CiTV Town.

Just have various pieces of film of cities that have been tampered with that looped for the V/O person to V/O and then have the billboard as ends of trailers, and menu's for the day. It would have made a better impact than trying to survive on last year's relaunch.

But now that Central News West has a main studio again, that they've been using all day (as no CiTV sharing anymore), I'm not sure why CiTV can't use whatever studio or space that the Central News virtual set uses.

Maybe even going back to old days where they had bands performing on the Central News set, well now they have that screen (looks like rear projection), and the plasmas, the only thing's that permanently say Central News are the desk and the lights. Stick a couple of CiTV logos in there and you're sorted.

Going back to the MoM trailer, this is something that they may want to look into, every CiTV programme is trailed as being on 'CiTV', so unless you know that it's a strand on ITV1, then you may not know where to find it, it does sound like it's on it's own channel. Perhaps a CBBC style 'on CiTV on ITV1' may help, or maybe it's just me.
