Yeah when they said "See You Soon" it made you think, is that it from them until they find another studio?, Also if there is a new look Monday it would be cool if they brought back the old Theme, but i can't see that happening.
I wouldn't mind any theme to be honest!
The new 4 note theme was ok, if they used it. Perhaps they should get someone to produce the music for them. I think they used the ones that have done things for years. They now do Dick & Dom, mainly due to the fact that Steve Ryde used them when he produced CiTV's afternoon links, and so he used them again, so perhaps they were just too busy for CiTV.
I think the current CiTV weekend sting is OK (the ITV logo being struck by CiTV coloured thunder), at least it is better than the one CiTV used for startups when it first relaunched.
The logo or letters, it may work well, not much time to do it now though!
It was interesting that they ended todays show saying "See you soon!"
Rather than, have a great weekend, or see you on Monday, or something.
Well in TV land "See you soon" often means you won't see us again here but we may pop up on another show or channel in a few months time!. Often said at the end of a programme that has been axed or a presenter who is leaving to a rival channel.
But in this case it may just be because as these pitiful links were recorded ages ago they didn't know if they would be back on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.
Talking about the presenters, I've got nothing against Andy personally, especially after he mentioned 'Yorkshire Television' on Monday its just I don't think he's working out on CITV. He should go back to being a continuity announcer.
Nothing to mention about today's MPAA links, they continued to be very short and very dull.
Also it's interesting they are using these new trailers already, do they normally do that kind of thing? isn't it standard practice to make two versions of everything, one in the old style and then one in the new style
Oh and finally, was that Nigel Mitchell on the trailer for Diggin'it. I haven't seen him since his days at Nickelodeon.
Well as everyone is uploading loads of CiTV stuff in spirit of 200 pages, here are a couple of WAV Files, I don't have a TV Card (yet), but I hope you like them.... (Sorry about the bad quality)
The first one comes from a Saturday morning at 9.25am, on ITV2, a standard start-up by the announcer and then into Mopatop's Shop via the CiTV plane ident.
The next one is the end of another Saturday on 'CiTV on ITV2' with Stephen doing the closing link after the Sunday morning promo, with the CiTV weekend ident from 1998 to 1999, probably the best one they did as it fitted in well with SM:tv and CD:UK when they started...

Looks to be a fairly good line up of brand new shows, and as you will have just seen, there's brand new Rugrats All Grown Up coming to the ministry from next Saturday
Im glad the doctor and Miss buthaven was back this week, they should include Miss Buthaven as a normal character through out the show as well as Buthaven!.
Good MoM this week, again!
James, the kid was on top form, he made the show for me.
It was nice to have the doctor back, and finally an episode of Sabrina that revolved around magic.
They seemed like they were having a lot of fun today though, most probably as we found out because it was the Producer's last show, so he's put everything into it.
Yes indeedy, All Grown Up is back next week, new eps, again exclusive to CiTV by the looks of it (for a few months before nick start to show them).
It's nice that there's a new series of Jungle Run. It's just a shame that we will never see the episode with Leah, Kate and was it Anna who's going to present Scary Sleepover. And because Leah doesn't do anything for CiTV now, we won't be able to see it!
I think it's a bad move to have bought the rights to Dora the Explorer.
OK, it may be a good show for little kids, but it is a half and hour programme, that means that other programmes don't get started till 4, so an hour for all other viewers over 7.
Flinstones was a programme that everybody could watch last september, but I don't think that the over 7's will want to watch her asking questions about what things are, when they could reply the answer easily
A new series of art attack, great show, glad it's continuing.
But looking at that schedule, I can see that they've left programmes due to having 15 weeks on air till Christmas, and most shows are only commissioned for 13 weeks/13 episodes.
I'd have had a filler week (like next week, at a look of the schedule), like last year's Alien Week, or fill it or two weeks (from Sept 6th) with 'Take Over TV', they did it in 2001for half term, I think it was.
It was like Nick's Watch Your Own Week/end where viewers could choose their favourite programmes.
They could have done this for two weeks and then lined up all of the series at once, and without repeats.
I don't understand why they're showing repeats of That's So Raven. There are many new eps that CiTV haven't shownt. Diggin'It may have done, but CiTV haven't. But if it's just as a two week fill in, maybe it's best not to.
Saying there are 15 weeks, as Christmas Day isn't until the Saturday, there are actually 16 weeks, if CiTV airs in the afternoons during that week.
Oh and finally, was that Nigel Mitchell on the trailer for Diggin'it. I haven't seen him since his days at Nickelodeon.
I'll get replying i think.
Yep It was Nigel Mitchell.
As Nigel is a Disney Channel 'Studio Disney' presenter, and Diggin'It is made by many of the Studio Disney production team (and use the Studio Disney studio and set), he must be filling in for Liam whlst he's on his holidays.
On Studio Disney he doesn't look that tall, but next to Abbie, he looked 7 foot!
I think the current CiTV weekend sting is OK (the ITV logo being struck by CiTV coloured thunder), at least it is better than the one CiTV used for startups when it first relaunched.
Not so keen on the ITV1 logo being struck, as it does nothing else. In the rest of them at the start of the year, it struck, turned the screen white and then the CiTV logo came on and did something to do with a show on that afternoon.
There was even a Ministry of Mayhem one, and I think it was only used once or twice on either the second or third week.
I preferred the September - December start up's when they featured CiTV characters around the CiTV logo with music!
I presume that these were to link in with ITV1's idents having their stars on theirs.
Which ident do you refer to as when they first relaunched? The one that I've just mentioned, or the one back in may 1998, or any September after that?

I'd upload other stuff, but it would be more appropriate if there was video rather then audio.
Thanks for that! Audio's better than nothing! I did like that Spikey logo, and the ident did seem as though it was made for SM:tv and cd:uk as it was loud, edgey, and even used their font in the background!
