As there was talk about CiTV moving to London or Granada Quay Street.

There was, it is ITV PLC's plan to scale down the Midlands, from what I heard they want to move Central News East into the same building as CiTV and Central News West, so I believe CiTV is going to be sacrificed, though it will probably be more likely that it would move to Manchester or Leeds, very big resource bases for ITV PLC. Though nothing has yet to be confirmed about moving to another location, all that has been said is ITV are scaling down it's Midlands operation.

Well, a brand new look MOM this morning. New studio, titles but same music.
I didn't like the beginning as it was obvious they were miming and those microphones stopped them doing the actions so it wasn't really "Mayhem".
I think the twins have definately been axed because there is (from what i saw) no space in the studio for them now.
There is only a short title sequence now, just shows is the MOM logo then cuts straight to the studio for the presenters "singing". Also, when it goes to ads they add the words "its the ministry of mayhem".
Finally, I like the new look doctors lab, I have only seen it from outside but It looks really stylish and a new feature comming next week called "Butkins" or something like that. Maybe its a sitcom (like Chums???)
So far from what I have seen i'll give it a Arrow 8/10

What does anyone else think?

Yeah i noticed the new Titles and Set, the twins have gone as they have given out the numbers and they were no where to be seen. Looks good however the BIG Comp is just a copy off Dick and Dom where they have "Reg" is it? as a angel.

I like the new set and titles though im guessing there will be new opening titles next week as Stephen, Michael and Holly sang the entire theme for the re-launch. Did anyone notice another cock-up during sabrina?.

Buthavens started this week, i liked the first episode.

Took a peak at BBC 2 before MoM, some of their sketches are just the same as MoM's, they have a sketch that is similiar to "At home with the Mayhem's" and they have a security guard who acts a lot like Ray!.

It's Saturday Morning TV, everything's a copy of everything else to some extent.

I was shocked over the new look this morning, I got back from France last night, so I'm not sure whether it was mentioned on CiTV yesturday afternoon about the changes.

It strikes me as an odd time to relaunch as it were, seems as though many programmes wait till September. Perhaps the new Monster Munch sponser bumpers means a new start to the sponser contract so more money for them.

Wasn't much for no titles, I think I'd prefer a live band to play and sing over the titles and add music through the show. Especially as you could hear Ray singing, and nobody else!

Not sure on the set, it's very cool, shiny and nice, but I think it would have suited cd:uk better.
The last set had the rooms, the space, and colour! It's more like the Ministry of chilled out spaces now! Oh well, if they nothing more to spend their money on!

I read on a Gunge/WAM website that the twins are on "holiday" but i got the feeling they're axed. Was the theme re-recorded at the beginning? I dont think that the guys will sing live each week at the beginning, i prefer a big opening on a first ever show and then have titles after episode 1.

That Saturday Show sketch has been on since it's relaunch a few month ago, which IIRC is before the whole "At Home with the Mayhems" thing started.

I know this is just me being fussy, but I wanted to say!

I liked the new studio, at least now the whole set won't be based around elements that were axed early on, such as the doors which were originally for Dat Door Dare and the Ministry Cat.

Didn't like the new opening (or lack of it), it was ok the way it was before. Also didn't like them having microphones at the start and end as it means they can't do the dance.

One of th best lines about the new set was from the Doctor 'Come in Busted my door is always open, although I don't have a door anymore Stephen'.

There' s still cakey skate, but they use one skate board now and a big trifle for the score board!

As someone mentioned a few pages ago as from tommorow CITV are for the summer going around visiting 'some of CITV's newest and best programmes'. Not particularly sure how this will work out, there can't surely be that many CITV programmes currently in production.

More significantly, at the end of this morning's CITV Andy Jaye signed off with 'but from us here at the Birmingham studios, thanks for watching and bye bye'

Is that the making of a confirmation that CITV won't be going back or should nothing be read into it!. I suppose we'll find out in September
