We saw the old Eat My Goal area on CD:UK again. Seeing it wit all SM:TV traces gone is almost enough to make me
In fact, every time CD:UK show the riverside terrace it's enough to make me <sobs uncontrollably>
One thing though, however unlikely it is that we'll ever see full editions fo CD:UK and SM:TV, I wonder why doesn't someone at Blaze make some sort of compilation series featuring the best from SM:TV and CD:UK (and possibly a few new sketches) that maybe ITV or ITV2 or someone will show? They could fit more in than SM:TV Gold did,as most of that was either programmes or live studio footage, there was only around 20 mins of old sketches in each edition They should focus ore on the early days as well, SM:TV Gold practically neglected them. It's something I'd like to see (As long as they d'dn't make it in 16:9 and crop it all. It wouldn't make sense seeing as SM:TV was not once in 16:9) just for the sake of being also to see oldSM:TV again.
Maybe they cut that scene out for the kids sakes? and i thought they was going to show the finals series from the start?.
Dont know if you've noticed, at the top of the screen during the breaks after they have applied the transistion which cuts to the break sting, you can still see a small portion of camera moving across the studio behind the break sting.
also...did the "hey-a hey-a here we go" line in the opening theme sound a bit different this morning?.
I don't know. Nickelodeon show it, and they even had that clip in a trailer at one point.
I wonder how much MoM will show from SM:tv's edits of sabrina. I dont have many episodes from the final series from SM:tv so I wouldnt be able to tell what was cut and what was not.
It was nice to see Holls Kitchen back this week, i liked it the last time they did it.
Was it my Tape or VCR or was the end if the ministry all "flickery" with the picture?. Playing the last part of sabrina, the interview with Girls Aloud and the gunging at the end back, the picture kept flickering but it was all right at the beginning of todays show.

Well, I taped all the episodes from SMTV (now taping over with the new ones on MOM) and have to say that I really hated SMTV for showing it, they basically cut 3/4 of the episode out. I know because when I read the sabrina transcripts with the episode from SMTV there is so much cut out. For example, the beginning scene, alot of the middle scenes and the final scene are all cut out which is a shame really.
Thats why I would like MOM to show sabrina from the start. If they are worried that it would go on to long (as there are 26 eps) then replace Mucha Lucha with sabrina and another one later.

I noticed that aswell when I watched it again, a bit of black dragged down from the top of the screen then disappeared, it happened twice at the end of sabrina.
PS: Does anyone know why MOM missed out the episode 'Ping Ping a Song'?
I think the flickering on my tape may be a fault at my end. I got a new VCR the other week and before i put the timer on for MoM i was playing with the buttons on the remote and there's a button which sad "PAL/NTSC" if i remember correctly i pressed that button and the flickering looks like a NTSC type of flickering, if you know what i mean.

That is probably it, different TVs react in different ways when you use NTSC playback on the video because of the differening refresh rate.

The difference was that the studio sound wasn't played over the top, usually when they cut to the studio u get the screaming kids, but this week they didn't play out the sound until Michael said "here's what coming up..." etc.
