Talking about old CiTV stuff, I have the CiTV closedown as you would say from 30th December 1999, the day before New Years Eve (I was taping Honey I blew up the kid), being transmitted in proper 16:9 and the presenters looking foward to the New Year and new presenters and shows, there's also a trail for citv.co.uk, when it was that anyway.

Ah, the last days before they moved to the new studio, which was on monday the 3rd wasn't it? Tom & Andrea were revealed as presents on christmas eve, and presented boxing day and that week onwards, but then Andrea had chicken pox for the morning when they revealed their new massive set which looked great back then.
They should have kept that shell of the studio last september instead of changing it to what we have now!
I didn't have ITV2 back then, so would love to see how CiTV on ITV2 worked. Did they have presenters or was it Voice Overed, or nothing? What sort of programmes did they show?

Also have some stuff from CiTV on ITV2 lurking about somewhere aswell, but it was nothing special, but different.

It was strange actually. Can't remember much of it but I can remember sorting through my video collection (which is something I did a couple of weeks ago, which must be where that came from) and doing this I found I had an old episode of SM:TV on tape only most of it had been taped over by some other rubbish and I was really annoyed.
That's not the wierd bit as to why I remembered the dream though, the wierdness was the bit surronunding the bit I dreamt about my stepmum being pregnant (something I hope never happens, I don't want her and my dad to EVER bring any children into this world- but that's a different story). My dreams never make any sense, but at least 9 times out of 10 I don't remember them.

Looking back on the "Chums" video that was realeased (and my VCR ended up chewing up half way through!, thank god for the DVD coming out in two weeks!) They had the Pokefight with Brian from westlife and Dec constantly shouted out "Brian" like an obsessed fan!
lol, out of interest how long did that pokefight last and how long did it take for ant and dec to calm down afterwards?.

Well CiTV on ITV2 as they called it was only on at weekends, it did however made an appearance on a Bank Hoilday Monday, but usually the strand was on ITV2 at weekends from 12.20pm until 2.45pm, at 12.20pm and 2.45pm, so opening and closing a presenter (either or Stephen and Danielle) would appear in the normal CiTV studio to tell you what was on for the day, but in between the programmes, they didn't use any IVC, they only showed CiTV trailers and I think some CiTV idents, but I am not 100% certain.
But in Summer 1999 on Saturday's CiTV was on from 9.25am, showing crap like Mopatops Shop, I have a 9.25am start-up somewhere, where we have a good morning from the duty announcer over the regular ITV2 ident and then a CiTV ident, then the programme itself, quite interesting really, shows how little money they have.
Unfortunately I don't have a TV Card, but if anyone wants an audio example I don't mind uploading a WAV File later on.

It's a shame that the MOM aren't showing Sabrina, the teenage witch from the beginning, because some people don't remember how Sabrina started the job (and how the aunts have gone) since it was such a long time ago from SMTV.
I taped it when it was shown on SMTV but would like it to be repeated again because they may not (I hope) show they SMTV edits, with everything cut out.
Anyway, we'll have to wait and see what it will be like.
