Your predictions about Mysti being bad were so right - just a few minutes and it was so damn plain awful. I think this is the new head of CBBC with her idea to make role models rather than having celebritys be them. It's so patrnonising and fake, wouldn't it be in their best interests to put the saturday show before the mysti show?

Jemma's presenting in the afternoons when Kate's not around now - working her way up!

The first few lines they cut, (that they used today) seemed to sound a bit different since the first show, have they been recorded again? and i've noticed that the theme now says "Ministry of Mayhem" instead of "Ministry Mayhem" Laughing Im very slow ! lol

The ministry of mayhem theme tune was re dubbed with an american-ised voice for show 2. Show 3, they cut it, a couple of weeks later they added a plane noise to disguise the jump (quite clever), and it stayed the same til this week.

Plus is it me, or would anyone else want to drive one of the cars on the titles that hover, and the bases turn. I wouldn't like to be stuck on the buses though, continually going round the square!

Sorry but what do you mean the 'jump'. What did they do then?

Thanx.

Having seen the new TSS I would have to say I think Ministry is actually better. And Mysti is a brave idea - trying to merge ideas like Parallel 9 / No 73 (characters as presenters) with narrative (quite Kerching / My Parents Are Aliens style). It was a good try, though the two parts didn't gel as well as they could have. At least by doing a pre-record they can deal with the interplay between the human world and the fictional world (in this case the Diner and the Heath) better than the live P9 did (interplay between P9 itself and the 'earth station' caravan). So I think my Saturdays are probably going to be run as follows:
0830 TSS
0925 Ministry
1000 Mysti
1100 Ministry
(I actually don't watch TOTP Sat or CD:UK as much, as I get the bulk of my music off the music channels, radio and CD's!)

By Jump, they kept the starting beats, but cut out the verse, so there was an odd jump in the music, and they disguised it by adding a plane noise over the top. Hope you know understand what I mean.

I saw a glimpse of the new TSS before the Ministry , Its a load of rubbish compared to fern and simons version last year

So what does everyone think of MPAA being on EVERYDAY at 4:30pm? Is this a tactic to beat CBBC hands down. Perhaps so people stick with CiTV when they bring in new shows?

Well its obviously the David Jason of kids TV. Whenever it isn't going very well, stick on MPAA.

Talking about MPAA. they are now in series two and I noticed there are minor changes to the music used on the titles and stings compared to series 1. A lot of the writing seems much more to the level that we come to expect whereas series 1 felt slightly different, they obviously had major brainstorming sessions before writing the second series. The credits also contain all cast names and not just those that don't feature at the start. Not sure what the endcap says on this series as CITV haven't shown it. Will it still be Granada Media Childrens with a YTV chevron, or was it Granada Kids by now.

This series is also the first showing of Trent, Andy the Freak and Mr Whiteside. And possibly quite sad but I've been wondering about the whole 'how old is Lucy compared to Josh' business and what years they are supposed to be in. In the first series Lucy was apparantly at Primary School and in the second series she's now at secondary school.
