They did sing today (As I thought they would run over time with Teen Angel starting at 10.55 this morning) They had Michael, Holly and Stephen's mum(s) on the show for mothers day and gunged them at the end

I'm glad the song was back, and there were actually funny moment this morning. The postal room was good, putting Ray into the big present, Stephen's micky take of Daniel Bedingfield, with Liz saying something about Daniel's lawyers calling.
The gunging of their mums was ok, as it was a production thing, but actually pieing your mum in the face with a cake, I'm sure they'll all pay for it, if they haven't already.
It was good that they dropped Spongebob this morning, though I don't get why they had a massive gap in between All Grown Up & Teen Angel, oh well. All in all a great show.
Though... I was flicking around and came to BBC One where they had diddy Timmy Mallet and diddy pinky punky with diddy dick & dom in the cupboard, and then folowing that they had silence through the bungalow, with various jingles playing backwards (
) before they went into the door for tricky training, when Dom opened it dressed as Cleopatra with a bobbed black wig, and gold dress, dancing to walk like an egyptian, classic.
MoM is getting better though, but just to flick and see this makes me realise why dick * dom have a great following. If only they still had the CBBC afternoon repeat on the channel, then I could watch them both!

I was laughing my head off when Stephen's mum got herself in the face on the game with the cakes and they stuck her cutout on her face!
My sister is so annoying - she thinks the "What Hurts" chairs are fake. Agh.

That was great, when she said sorry to Stephen for letting him down.

They cut down the opening credits to All Growen Up last week , only showing the last few lines of the title song and the logo at the end. Spongebob is back next week though...probably an excuse to run over time again like the week before. They need to shorten their programmes like SM:tv did to get everything in.
JA
Though when SM:TV shortened thier programmes, quite often they cut out a hell of a lot, and sometimes ruined the workings & continuity of the episodes. Like the ep of Sabrina that was shown on the last SM:TV- around half the episode was cut out, and rather than just cut out the odd scene, they cut 2 chunks of around 5 minutes out. Some of these massive cuts can meant an episode doesn't make sense.

Absolutely. I though MoM was going for a different approach following this when their first show had one Spongebob and Tutenstein. Surely if they want to show Spongebob (which can be seen on Tuesday afternoons anyway), they could drop All Grown Up (which everyone interested in it will have already seen by now), and just play out the one Spongebob along with Teen Angel.
Plus as the adverts have been showing, there are only 3 more Dick & Dom in da bungalow's. I've also seen this advertised on the channel, so presumebly they are having the summer off. Unless they are having their holidays now, and coming back to do HOT or something similar over the summer holidays.
And then the Mysti Show and the Saturday Show are joining TOTP Saturday. Should be interesting. And this is when MoM should buck up their ideas and go for the best shows that they can do, look back over old MoM's, SM:tv's, Live & Kicking, Dick & Dom, anything successful and get ideas. No one likes watching stale ideas, and if the Saturday Show is all new, then viewers will spread over there.
Hopefully MoM will act like SM:tv used to, when BBC One had something 'All New', SM:tv created or bought back items, and created new ones to give it a fresh and familiar approach.
What would be sad is if The Saturday Show comes back as another mayhem show, just like Ministry & Dick & Dom.
My feeling is that they are going to go for an SM:tv style game/sketch/chat approach.

The Saturday Show? Hope to look out for some info in the coming weeks. I'm not sure it will be Fearne & Simon.

It isn't Simon & Fearne, as the BBC Press Release states, it's Simon Grant, Jake Humphries and Angellica Belle.
Fearne will continue to host TOTP Saturday (so most probably staying in it's pre recorded current state!)
