Im not sure who made telly tots; as im not sure who produced CiTV's graphics; if it was in house; i dont know why it was dropped. Perhaps because the voices of the characters kept changing.
An external 3d animation company made the Telly Tots graphics. Probably because then the didn't have the tecnology there to do lip-sync or something like that.
Did you ever watch telly tots; nothing was ever lip synced; they mouths of the characters just moved randomly all the time until they went to the next frame; though I suppose the tots didnt mind. I miss the laughing female pillarbox!
After Alien Week touches down on landing pad 47 the CITV schedule looks like this from September 8th

My Parents are Aliens (M/W), Pirate Island (Tue), Jimmy Neutron (Thur), Sabrina (Fri)
Sundays are Fingertips, Art Attack and all that sort of stuff
It looks like CITV have just bought the rights to The Flintstones
I wonder why they have bought the rights to the flinstones. Its going to be on four times a week, and its the episodes before they introduced #Flinstones, Meet the Flinstones, There a modern stone age family ...# etc.
Quite a lot of new programmes; though many will say that they're new but be repeats. Globo Loco will be a repeat as they've only recently finished showing them.
I know that there is a new series of my parents are aliens but will the new series be both mon & wed, unless they have made double the amount this year.
Rescue Robots on friday will be the last in the series as they billed it at the end of yesturdays as "next time on the last rescue robots of the series"; I wonder what will replace these! There a re a few things returning but there still seems to be a lack of drama, and itv's own made cartoons.
Pirate Island is similar to the BBC series Ace lightning exceot kids go into the computer game instead of the computer game coming into our world (The accents sounded like it was australian!).
Glad to see the return of Jungle Run, and the new series looks even better with Michael at the helm.
Also Looking forward to the new series of Sabrina, which I presume is what is being shown on fridays CiTV, usually the repeat of the ep on SM:tv.
Plus whilst we're in this topic. Excellent edition of SM:tv Live again! Looking at the end credits Ben Ward is now the producer of SM:tv which may explain a few things. Stephen was really presenting it on his own this week, with Des doing a few of the sketches with him. But Stephen was fabulous especially in the return of wonkey donkey. It would have been nice if Stephen & Des could have done it just to add a bit more.
They'd be mad if they didnt sign Stephen up for the new show in january. In fact they're mad to end SM:tv just as its getting back onto its feet, all it needs is post CiTV advertising and a bit of a new look.
Yes and Nikki Sanderson was quite good as a guest presenter. Stephen definally had a bit of Ant and Dec moment during Wonkey Donkey, shouting at the callers "Fish Copper..?". Dirty Tricks was quite funny as well with the young boy getting many buckets of beans thrown over him!
I believe its just that their lease has expired, as five years ago today (well the equivilent of this date!), the last saturday in august 1998 ant & dec stood outside at the entrance to the corridor leading to studio 2 at the london studios and welcomed us all to the very first sm:tv live. My how times have changed.
So I presume that blaze wanted to move to a new location, it does seem to be a slightly bigger studio, especially for the cd:uk stages.
Oh yeah, that poor kid, though he was a bit mouthy! I liked it at the end when Des said we still have a console to give away; we'll sort the kid out with something else.
Nikki did a good job, what you saw of her! There was only one major sketch (wasnt there?) today the one with grandolf's kitchen. They did bill Garbage Hunt at the top of the show, though I didnt see it anywhere!
I'd heard a rumour through the grapevine that the new ITV Sat morning show will be presented by Michael, Stephen and they're poaching a female from CBBC.

Now, I heard that on Liquid News last night. So now we know where you get your information from!

A good choice of a kid though who actually got into it

Garbage Hunt was fairly near the start of the show, and there was also the sketch with Backside as well!

Probably either Fearne or Angelica.
Fearne for obvious reasons and Angelica after Ana left CBBC two years ago they (Michael and Angelica) worked well for a few months.
