CiTV & Ministry of Mayhem thread

Just though I'd add this here.
If you saw cd:uk yesturday you will know this, but cd:uk have a new website itv.com/cduk (or www.cduk.com). The actual website is the pop up by the way!

But this is not the interesting bit, what is interesting is the two little flags in the bottom left of the pop up, Germany's and Italy's, linking you to their cd:uk's. The German one is named McDonald's Chart Show (I presume that is their sponser), but from the top grab has a similar graphics look to ours.

As for Italy's version cd:live, their logo is our logo with the word live instead of 'uk'.
This may be old to others, but I didn't know that cduk had spread.
Quite a clever idea using the name cd:live as it has no country relevance. I wonder whether they could take it to the US (cd:us maybe?).

If they branded all of the shows around the globe with circuled 'cd' logos on sets, they could easily swap performances with others around the world, if they needed to.

Are Laura and Andy related? On the website they have the same name. Yet I really doubt it, I think Andy's sirname is Crane?

LOL Andy Crane that's a name from the past he started in the CBBC broom cupboard then went one to do Bad Influence on CITV then various other things. Anyway, the Andy who presents CiTV is Andy Jaye so its possible they could be related.

It's former DiGGiT presenter Laura Jaye.
I corrected you on Andy on digital spy. Andy Crane, lol.
She's good at the moment, and was always nice & lovely on DiGGiT. A good choice. Hopefully she'll kick a bit of life into Andy!

Ah! Mr Tim Dixon. Last year's January presenter, mellow, laid back and well that's it. Many similarities to andy and himself. Perhaps they like that kind of person at CiTV.

I'm being so dumb! I swear i heard him say Crane when he introduced himself first.

Oh yeah! Its her! I always prevered her compared to the other girl. I was like "this couldn't be her first time presenting, she's amazing".

She is amazingly gorgeous, but that's not the point, lol.
Yeah, the other one was just like a female Des! Cockney, Cocky and annoying!
Laura's done a great job, and I'm sure she will be a great asset to CiTV.
If only they could sort out the set, the graphics, tune on the graphics, and programmes!

But seriously doesn't that prove some people have TOO much time on their hands? I haven't watched a single episode but I don't go about how I hate it. For me its something I'm not interested in.

And yes I do have too much time on my hands. When my sister has sky, and i don't want to have on CBBC, Ready Steady Cook, Whatever on 4 or a movie on five. It's usually on in the background whilst I'm searching this.
For the demographic, it's most probably a great programme, but it'd just not my cup of tea. I'd prefer MPAA back anyday.
