I still haven't connected with Andy. He's OK with Gail, as Gail is quite loud and happy, and up for anything.

3 presenters most days now is great (don't forget Swag!! He's most probably the best of all 3!!)

I like how they keep adding new stings, though hardly any of them are as good as the originals. And many of the new ones don't have the tune added to them!

They keep changing the set slightly too. This week they have added new images into those 5 holes either side of the big CiTV logo, and the past two weeks they have had a light projecting a clock face about the logo structure that has the logos on it (couldn't think how else to describe it!),
though I don't understand what the clock face is for.
It would be OK if it told the time. But it's been just the face of it!

Of course the extra time has to do with less advertisers. From September to Christmas they were having the two tots programmes, break, break in the middle of the show, break, middle show break, break, middle of show break, and then they finished.

Now they seem to be going tots shows (which have lost the milkybar sponsership, I think it's the first time since Telly Tots launched in Sept. 2000), show, break (sometimes, as others they just go straight to the next programme), break between the two parts, break, two part middle of break, and then end.

It's good that they are now having a few different competitions such as Spongebobbing, not the best game ever, but it's better than nothing!

I think there have been 3 spongebob games on Nickelodeon. One where they have to go in a pool of spongebob toys to find a gold toy, then another where there behind this fish tank and being directed to pick up spongebob toys and the latest where there blind folded and have to make a fake patty.

Did you all see Alex Kew from My Parents are Aliens on The Bill tonight. He was playing a small part.

Oh and on today's CITV Andy was doing an impression of Swag with the deep voice. There was also loads of time for an extended Swag item.

Also I notice they now have the words on screen with one of those karaoke style bouncing balls during the "Now you can always see all your friends on CITV" trailer, so make sure you all join in and sing along!

What does everyone think of the new MOM DOG?

On the plus side, it's more coloutful, looks more upmarket and it's the old CiTV logo (before they tweaked it in september 03).

On the down side, it is too big and very disracting with the colours and it spinning around.

Thats my thoughts,

EDIT: Just as I have posted this they have stopped the DOG spinning and just kept the CiTV logo. Still way to big!

EDIT 2: This is very weird, they have now gone back to the original DOG (the opaque one). Does anyone know why, was this a mistake?

Now the dog is swapped for the old one!

I'm not suprised on the DOG situation, it was far too distracting. Even if a DOG is big and opagqe but static, it;s fairly easy to ignore, but even being small, when it was spinning round like the MoM one, your eyes are constatnally drawn towards it. I wsn't suprised to see them freeze the DOG after a few minutes, they must have realised thier mistake. I was suprised to see them retun tot he old one, I doubt the animated DOG will return.

I know I'm saying it again, but can't they get rid of TutenStein, no-one I know likes it, and as I've said, that does include children. What I think is that it's too complicated for the younger kids, and too slow moving and boring for the older ones.

I thought it was cool, but moving dogs annoy me.

Ministry of Mayhem was very good today. Funny at parts and enoyable to watch.

They are improving it every week by taking away some old bits and adidng new ones. BTW, does anyone have the BARB ratings for last week's show?

It's still far too contrived and scripted. In fact, I think it was worse this week.

Firstly, the Pop Idol people were having a cake fight, but they cut away to Holly doing a serious link and then went to a break. It's supposed to be a Ministry of MAYHEM! Can we see some please instead of going to adverts all the time!

I would suggest having Cakey SK8 at the beginning of a long section - so at the end of it, they don't go to a break, instead they go to a competition in the studio, allowing them to stay with the Mayhem.

There was an interesting moment where Holly and Stephen were sat on the sofa and he messed up and had a laugh, which was very watchable. But then he said "ooh... let's get back to the script" and they did an awful awful joke which was embarrassing to watch. The scripted parts are *terrible*!

My favourite bit today was, once again, the doctor. I did laugh out loud at the "Moppen mein brow bitte" part.

Yeah, I hate it scripted too.

It was Alex on THE BILL (v. good episode incidentally) - he's confirmed the fact over on the MPAA boards.
