Don't just ditch the titles, ditch the whole show!
Seems a bit harsh to me! Especially as it is definitely improving each week.
I do agree that the titles need sorting though.
ermm. I wasn't refering to MoM (as I like it), I was refering to that godawful excuse for a cartoon- TutenStein

They should cut the Tutenstein titles and play the full MOM titles!

Maybe they thought the original titles were too long. Remember SM:TV also cut the titles during its final few months so there must be a reason for it. Maybe someone could e-mail MoM and ask.
And in relation to Tutenstein, how do we know there isn't loads of kids across the country loving that show!

Good point Andrew. Just because none of us like Tutenstein doesn't mean that all viewers, especially under 10 hate it!
The titles are great, along with the music. All they have to do is return to the original titles and music used week 1. Week 2 they changed to that American sounding guy doing the first verse, week 4 they chopped the verse off and made the horrible cut to the music and titles.
Michelle was on there as was Calvin being splatted by Stephen's cake and other moments from the first show. I thought they would put the best bits of last week in each week, but they didn't!
As for the actual show, it gets better each week. I didn't see yesturday's opening, but out of the other 5 show 2 still has the best opening for me.
It was the one where Holly & Stephen did their own dances, Stephen did his high kick, D-Side (dummies) dropped in, and Ray was dressed as Tutenstein coming out of the Toilet. It was all quick, simple, effective and fun. I'd say the worst one had to be the one that started with the Blazer Squad!

Well, I know for a fact that all of my cousins hate it. They think it's rubbish, slow-moving and boring. In case you're interested, there are 8 of them aged between 5 and 14.

The thing with SM:tv was that they at their peak, they could show anything and get away with it. Pokemon was dire, but the bits inbetween were worth sticking around for. Pokemon then became really popular.

I think the surprise was that Andy got a phone call off Holly (from the ministry). Which Swag ruined as he told Andy to read a rubbish poem so that Holly would fancy Swag.
Speaking of Swag, it was Swag and Gail today (no Andy) on CiTV. And they must have had some time on their hands today as they set up a spoof sketch with Swag running for President with Gail in a tall hat and beard being his Spokeman, even though Swag interupted to say he'd put a bad on gerkins.
Then later it was time for Swag the bag. They came on and Swag wanted to go into it, with Gail questioning him about his weekend. Then they shownt photos of him being caught by the police and in the back of a police car. He said that they'd mistaken him for another sack.
All in all it was a good afternoon, even though the programmes weren't great, the links were.

CITV has come a long way since the September relaunch hasn't it. Here's a comparison.
September 2003
Some days with no presenters
Days that have presenters only generally have one at a time
Links only occasional, not between every show at each side of the break
Very short links of about 20 seconds each
No time for games or sketches
February 2004
Presenters every day
Two presenters most days
Links between every show
Very long links of over 2 minutes
Lots of time for games, sketches, banter and off the cuff remarks
Strange how that back then it looked like presenters were being dropped, now Andy and Gail have more link time per day than Michael and Leah had in a week!

Well having new presenters is a good excuse for a new start, and correcting past mistakes.
