Looks like MoM have revised thier graphics and altered the studio layout- the sofa's moved and the audience are now filling the studio. No sign of MPAA which was mentioned last week though, it would be a refreshing change from TutenStein and wouldn't have me reaching for the remote the second the opening titles roll. Replacing TS with MPAA or Sabrina is probabally the best thing they can do if they want to beat D&D in the ratings.

Sounds interesting. Again, out all day, missed it, haven't watched last weeks yet! Are they still using the doors?

I noticed the sofa moved Steve Austin week, as it went in between the stage and the audience tier. Is it still there or moved somewhere else?

When you say the audience fill the studio. Do you mean in a 'Mad For It!' way? (for those that never saw mad for it, the set was made up of stages and areas around the outside of the studio, with the audience taking up the actual studio floor in the centre.), is it like this?

Now that Tutenstein is transferring to CiTV afternoons, I doubt it will take long for it to vanish of MoM. Though they will keep it for a few weeks as they have gone to effort with the Tutenshrine and things.

I remember the first week that SM:tv changed their show schedule, though I don't know what they got rid of, when they introduced Dextor's Lab. Or did they reduce Angry Beavers to one ep. It was quiet packed back in 98; Angry Beavers, I am Weasel, Cow & Chicken, Dextor's Lab, and Sabrina on shows till 11:30!

Yes, the doors are very much in use. To the point where michel nearly knocked himself out on one.

It's somewhere else now- to the left of the stage

By fill I more meant in front of the stage & on the stairs rather than off camera like before.

I can't remember either! Don't you have an ep on video from then to look at? In fact, does anyone on here to answer the question?

It was quite packed wasn't it (techncially though, I Am Weasel was part of Cow & Chicken, presumably that's why both were shown)? Then again, the show itself didn't have anywhere near as much going on so the programmes filled the gaps. It does now seem quite hard to imagine SM:TV without being filled with sketches and features. BTW, when did chums start- was it before, after or on the September 99 relaunch?

Ministry of Mayhem is already becoming very repetitive for me..

I disagree. There are a lot of the same features that occur on each show but let's not forget that it's only been on for five weeks! Rolling Eyes

How would we get to like certain games/sketches etc if they kept changing all the time? 'Challenge Ant' , 'Wonkey Donkey', 'Chums', just a few elements of SMTV that were on every week, did that feel repetitive?

Yes it did especially when we had SMTV in its fifth year doing "Wonkey Donkey" and "Eat My Goal".

Fair enough, but five years and five weeks is a big difference! Wink

These weeks will slowly turn into months and then years.

But look at the changes they have made to the programme in the past 5 weeks. They haven't kept the show the same yet. They have features which are very weak, and will need change, such as the spelling smackdown, cakey sk8, and watt hurts.

I quite like the idea that I thought they were going for in week 2 by dropping certain features and having different ones in different orders each week, therefore they wouldn't get as tideous as quickly.

And I hope they don't keep the titles in their shortened version, it's a horrible edit and a waste to have made the long titles! You can tell they've edited it themselves, and it makes no sense, taking 10 seconds off the titles, and then adding an extra 10 minute cartoon!

I think Cakey SK8's brilliant, but not every week...

Yeah, I hate the edited version. The first one was so much better! It got you hyped up. It feels like you're rushed into it now.

I couldn't have put the title situated any better.

Did they add any end credits this week? I hate how they don't add them at the end. I'd like to know who makes the show.

Just heard about the figures for last saturday...very very interesting!!

5th MoM - 700,000 11%
D&D - 900,000 15%

The gap is getting smaller every week...maybe D&D should start getting worried? Wink
