An all new line up? Why's that? Simon and Fearne picked up the audiences for the last series. Simon's still working at CBBC, on the Channel, as he said he would be until The Saturday Show comes back in April. Fearne is still working at CBBC with Smile & TOTP Saturday. And as TOTP Saturday will most probably return to being part of The Saturday Show, it would seem logical that Simon & Fearne would reprise their roles.

i'v read in star magazine they might not be bringing it back at all and are considering keeping D&D, apparantly the BBC have been "impressed" with the shows "Cult sucess"

Interesting theory. It will be sad if they do though. Dick & Dom has a cult following. But as many cults, it may not last long. To try and extend it, i would have thought the best way would be to have a ummer fill in.

And then there's the case of last year on the Channel. Dick & Dom had the summer off, and they need to have a holiday. Unlike the Saturday Show that could bring in anyone to fill the presenters shoes for a few weeks, what would Dick & Dom do? The show is focussed around them, they make the show, and I couldn't see them not having a holiday to do the show 52 weeks of the year.

I think it would of been a hell of alot easier to keep The Saturday Show, but perhaps have Dick & Dom with Fearne or Sara? Like an Ant & Dec with Cat Deeley.

There's no way possible that The Saturday Show would come back spring. Dick n Dom is proving cheaper and getting slightly better ratings.

But I don't think Dick & Dom, or the producers would like a female bought in. It wouldn't work, unless they added Dick & Dom with a female person to the Saturday Show or a Saturday Show format. Though that would then to out to be like MoM.

I actually sat down and watched MoM on saturday for the first time and from what I saw I thought it was really good.

Just wondering- was TutenStein pushed any way by CITV today? I didn't see it, I turned off after Angry Beavers and there was some promotion both sides of that.

What do u mean, pushed? As in heavily promoted? Not really. They shownt the first episode from the first MoM. It's interesting that they've shunted Sooty out for this.

Yes, that's pretty much what I meant, I class the "TutenShrine" on MoM as pushing as well.

Presumably with the sotty thing it's probabally that Sooty's old, this is something new.
