Nick has Worst Witch, Girls in Love and Transylvania Pet Shop.
Nicktoons TV has Mr Bean : TAS (if you count that)
While Nick JR have ALOT of CiTV shows.
Also as we know, CiTV have alot of Nick shows. CiTV are relying on All Grown Up!, Nick know this and if they don't join up, Nick could use it against them.

Indeed they do, and indeed they are. Isn't the merger of carlton & granada supposed to be freeing up millions? And if they can get ofcom to get rid of the payment of the regional licences each year there will be more money available. But will they give any money towards CiTV?
Maybe one idea is to create a CiTV company, or joining a production company to become CiTV, such as the Foundation. They would therefore take the name of CiTV and run it as they wish with itv providing them with a yearly budget.
What are the proposals if they join up with nick? Will they just make co productions? Where each puts in a sum of money towards the production of a series and then each can show it. But how will it work?
I expect CiTV's yearly budget is more than that of Nick. As the majority of nick uk's schedule are nickelodeon made programmes from the US.
But if they did that, CiTV may get less viewers if nick shows the shows stripped across the week, and CiTV shows them once a week, so effectively they will be old shows when CiTV shows them, or if nick get to show them when CiTV have shownt them all they will be showing old shows!
I think it was stated that CiTV's annual budget is £35m, isn't CBBC's £80m? Though CBBC does broadcast 12 hours a day compared to CiTV's 105 minutes weekdays, 120 minutes Saturdays, and whatever amount of time CiTV get on Sundays.
I believe the sleepover club is a co-production with CITV. The CITV website is on the endcap anyway.
Doesn't mean anything, quite easy to slap that on themselves.

Seems to me that ITV are just running CiTV on the cheap. But I don't believe the single ITV is going to throw much more money CiTV's way, nor will the reducing of/scrapping the costs of the franchise licences. That'll either end up in the overall programming budget outside of CiTV or in the management's pockets.

This is an issue, I mean if ITV Kids does happen, it will have to be run ever so cheaply if it comes out of that £35m budget. Never mind renegoiating rights and things to show stuff on the new channel. I mean advertising revenue income on the channel will only go so far...
Did anyone else notice that bit of a cockup around 4.25pm today. We returned after the break to a ITV1 logo, which then changed to a CITV logo. Then a short montage of last year's stings started playing as if the server was automatically playing everything one after another, that puzzle one and the Flintstones one for example.
After three stings just as it was getting interesting it was time for Bag the Swag as normal

That was really wierd. More the fact that they were all pre christmas stings. The puzzle one is now that wierd montage of a camera filming a TV screen with the CiTV logo on which goes into inverse and has wierd cuts to it. Flinstone finished before christmas, and the spiral one has been replaced by those CiTV pastel coloured logos slowly spinning.
By looking at this you can see that they have totally mucked up the graphics since Christmas. They were simple, yet effective, now they are too simple and totally rubbish.
I liked the way they took the mick out of Gail at the start of today's CITV, and showed a clip from yesterday when she said "As Told by Mimi" was on tommorow!
There was a possibly not live link up to the MoM and also the show has been advertised by way of a trailer at 7.15pm again and also the continuity announcer mentioned it at some point as well

Glad to see you're on the look out Andrew. Today's CiTV links were great. I'd just liked to see Andy get enthusiastic for once. They should give him non stop coca cola all day to see if that would perk him up a bit.
Swag was good how he kept knocking everything over, I couldn't understand why a sack would have a pair of pants in the vault though, nice doll too!

When the set starting falling down I was worried it might uncover a man on the floor operating Swag!
I never really watch Des and Mel, I'm in Year 11! When I am off, I prefer to watch Terry & Gaby though. I have watched Des and Mel a few times, but can't get into it. Although, I keep laughing at that shampoo advert she does, it's so irritating, its funny! Apparently, she's pregnant?
I'm looking forward to the Ministry of Mayhem, what other reason do I have to get up at 9.25am on a Saturday?
