Come on Whataday, you can explain yourself a bit better than that.
Yeah, how dare you dislike it, everyone else has decided it's great!
But notice how we have said what we liked and didn't about it! That's all I asked for!

Personnaly I didn't really like the first 5 minutes either. There is something about the ident that irritates me, I think that it is because the logo is pink if I remember correctly and it just doesn't seem right. Also I didn't like the bit at the very start (just after the idents), or more precisely that dancing bloke in a 'bear' suite.
Having said that I'm sure they will improve and the only reason I didn't watch any more of it was because I had to go out. Dick & Dom does appear to look a bit desperate particularly as they've got rid of some good games, although I do like their 'magic' video tape (opt-out).

So they basically paid for 5 episodes as it would fit in with the theme of alien week? Interesting way of doing it. And good on for nick letting them show it!
That's actually a shame, I quite enjoyed it. It's jsut a shame it doesn't look like they are showing any more, especialyl as I never catch it on Nick, mainly because it's one first thing on weekend mornings and I'm usually not up on weekends until around 9, and if I am, I never think to put it one. One thing I always think of when I watch Zim is Daggett (from The Angry Beavers) as they sound exactally the same. I know they're voiced by the same person, but surely he could try and make it sound a bit different, LOL.

Practically, CiTV asked Nickelodeon if they could borrow Invader ZIM and they let them.

Contrived is a pretty descriptive word, I don't see what's wrong with that.
It's so unnatural. They're trying to be spontaneous, which is an impossible thing to do. Useless rubbish. I can't see it lasting long.

So in short:
Ministry of Mayhem: 9% audience share
Dick & Dom: 17% audience share
It doesn't suprise me for two reasons:
1. There was a week between SM-TV endiing and MOM starting, thus giving Dick & Dom chance to introduce new games without looking like they are desperatly trying to compete with the new ITV programme.
2. Dick & Dom starts 25 minute before MOM, thus getting the audience and then making sure they keep them when MOM starts at 9:25am. Unfortunately for MOM GM-TV seem to insist in sticking about 5 minutes of adverts in just before the programme, which probably results in people changing channel.

Obviously it's going to take time for word to spread, as SM:tv did, and the Saturday Show did, and Dick & Dom did on the channel before crossing over. I expect that MoM will keep improving and build up ratings, especially through the summer, the dick & dom viewers that don't like the saturday show and don't have digital will go looking for something else.
I'm not sure I blame GMTV, though perhaps they could come up with a deal where by CiTV/itv take over at 9am on a Saturday, and in return they give them an extra half hour on a sunday morning. I doubt this would be a problem in the summer when the premiership has finished.

I now know who the 'familar face' of CiTV is. It's Gail Mckenna.
She isn't as good as I expected because she is used to TV but maybe not live TV so I will give her a chance. I didn't like her with Swag but she doesn't make it sound so scripted as Andy does.
I am still waiting for the last presenter of CiTV is. Why are they taking so long? COME ON CITV!
LoveTV
ps: I think that Sabrina should be on CBBC. They could fit it in nicely on their channel on Saturday/Sunday instead of countless eps of Tracy Beaker. CiTV seem to have given up on it. Also, since CiTV are aiming at a younger audience then CBBC should have it as they aim up to teens (which Sabrina is aimed at!).

We did mention Andy said Gail was here (as in there) on monday on friday. We presumed it was her. But what other presenter are you on about? Do you know something, do you know that they're going to be having three?
I thought she was good with Swag, more relaxed as she had someone to talk to. It was good how they added legs to Swag on the plasma when he was sitting on top, but then he wandered away across the top of the plama and his legs were still there!
Gail seems more relaxed than Andy, or perhaps she's just more enthusiastic about the job than Andy is. I hope they get a chance to work together. Though Gail mentioned at 3:30 that she will be here for the next few weeks. I hope she is permanent and not just temporary.
If they have bought the rights (as they usually do), then CiTV will still have the terrestrial rights to broadcast Sabrina. I wonder if they will ever bring it back!
