Monday October 13th 2003 it was. As James said the same time breakflashes in Carlton Central West were introduced. Most probably was an update to their systems.
Ah right, only just noticed, but then again I don't watch it often.
I don't blame u for not watching some of the rubbish they have on at the moment, what on earth is this Sleepover Club business. i haven't watched an episode yet.
Brilliant Creatures is good, Stephen & Gail are great presenters, Gail is very experienced. According to TV PLUS this is her 6th series of brilliant creatures. The article was quite interesting. I didn't know that she had two children and was once a page 3 model in the 80's!
You know you were on about Mr Bean : The Animated Series being on CiTV or perhaps after CiTV, fanoftv? Well, Nicktoons TV will be showing it in February. Talking of Nicktoons TV - there's a fantastic new toon called "Yakkity Yak" that I think would better on MoM then Tutenstein does.
Does anyone get the impression CiTV have Tutenstein like some sort of competition against CBBC have The Mummy?

It would be a great idea to have the animated series of mr bean at 5 extending the CiTV brand, but bringing in new older viewers from saturday nights. Perhaps they should try this, just one ep a day. Maybe they should also try a junior itv news, a bit like newsround is for BBC, just trial it for a few weeks and see how it takes off. They could easily set it up in the Central News area of the CiTV set (with maybe a different backdrop), or the Central News west CSO set, or the itv news CSO set at ITN. But itv won't let them try things like this. A shame really. They could have done like newsround did originally and used itv news' reporters to cover stories.
Yeah I've seen Yakety Yak, quite funny, though even though it's in the title my mother thought it was a moose!
They've most probably gone with tutenstein as it's not aired on any of the satillite networks in this country (yet), so they have bagged it as an exclusive. It's either that or the rights to air this were cheaper than other things. They could do with finding the new pokemon. It was a massive craze that certainly helped sm:tv get the reputation as they watched sm:tv before and in the middle of pokemon, then watched the rest of SM:tv also.
And as Dec said on the 100 greatest kids tv shows, they were asked if they wanted it, they watched it, they thought it was cheap & rubbish and so they had it.
It's funny that Pokemon worked the opposite way for me. I hated it, and I turned off SM:TV after a pokefight or pokerap. Obviously though with the craze it was for a few months (I remember after around 6 months of it beign big, Pokemon very rapidly fizzled out- well it did at my school) it would have helped SM:TV a lot. Obivoulsy the shows being shown in a programme can make a massive differnce on the viewing figures. TutenStein isn't going to draw a massive amount of kids, and despite the sort of popularity it has Spongebob tacked on during the last half hour won't make a massive difference either. Showing the remaining eps of Sabrina would be much more of a draw for viewers, and maybe something else with it, which has either been shown before on CITV or something that's doing well on Nick or Cartoon Network like Cow & Chicken and Angry Beavers were when SM:TV started showing them in 1998.
What about reviving Rocko's Modern Life? I'd watch Ministry of Mayhem if they had that! Or something like 'The Amanda Show' - there's certainly Mayhem on that!
Apparently Teen Angel is doing very well on CiTV. I don't get what they have done with Sabrina though. It may not be the greatest series, but if they have paid for the rights of the last series they may aswell show it all, even if it is shown on CiTV weekday afternoons.
